Little bit offtopic but how can I lock the core clock at 850 or higher? I basically want to disable the power saving features alltogether!
This post says it all
BTW my card is one of 1.125V GPU and it does quite well OCed as seen here:

1107MHz @1.312V on air :D
I did push 1200MHz @1.362V but it wasn't stable after surpassing 60C on the core and god knows how hot PWM was at that point!
I can add that the 1.174v card is extremely noisy compared to the 1.125v one. It's as noisy as a HD4890 with the stock cooler while the 1.125v card is bearly audible. It's not just the voltage since both cards run at roughly same temperatures. The fan profiles on the newer 1.174v card makes a stupid jump at 85C when it goes from 33% to 37%. Such a notch ofcourse makes the fan constantly changing speeds. So it's "hissss, wroaaar, hissss, wroaaar, hissss, wroaaar" when playing cards that really stress the card. Changing the voltage to 1.125v helps a bit but the fanspeed still jumps around occasionally.
