Yup :yepp: ^
So not a big deal actually with that kinda psu.

at 85% efficiency that is 1380W peak
Until JG or similar review it, we don't know the true efficiency.
So, where in the hell do I turn this PSU ON?????????
yep! that's nice.
well done sir.
Before I see that this test I think that thermaltake toughpower 1200 (w0133ru) is better.
Please take the time test.
I don't see the deal....1600W from the wall means a lot less to the computer which is not as insane as you might think.
Without knowing how stable voltages are and about ripple we don't know at all whether this psu is any good or not.
ok baby! Perhaps you are right.
--------------
But you talk about antec 1200.
1600 Watt in you might get surprised!
But again, please see below.
http://shahrsakhtafzar.com/img/out.p..._Antec1200.jpg
1600 Watt power consumption is in the input.
Now please note of the next.

Green Power 1035 model that has been tested.
(And this time the picture is brighter Photoshop program.)

(Also a bit with custom program to do this.)
I am waiting for your comments.
jagvar whats your problem man
are you on a power trip or something here
if you want someone on a public forum to do some super snazzy review with a $100,000 testing machine you are looking at the wrong place............ thumbsdown for what exactly
it meant to show differences. I just wanted to show you that Antec power is not that superpower.
be kind with me. :)
and I'm sorry for my English and my irrelevant posts.
javgar made valid point. Power figures from wall is just as important as the colour of my underwear. *pink of course*
We need to see real reviews from JG for example.
Antec PSU is good product for sure, but let's not try to fool anyone here.
Yes, I have no personal problem with these reviews, but I hope all users know the facts.
I am waiting to test this unit myself soon.
Something I want to see: Ripple at 100% load at 50'c ambient. Come, come, JonnyGuru and crew :D
You poeple are forgetting the Koolance 1300w (1700w @ 240v) watercooled psu, that would own this antec
Would it? We'll have to wait for a decent review to see

Arrived some pics here
later try test it :D
When it comes to very strong PSU's, PC P&C TurboCool 1,2KW or UltraX3 1,6KW have been on the market for years, so we have seen PSU's that can give >1400W (take ~1600W from the wall).
But I think ppl got the wrong picture here. This is not about "wow, we have never seen this before", it is about Antec putting out a very strong PSU for overclockers, a very strong top of the line for them. That, we should salute.
Now, if you really want to show something monstruous, use a single PSU to power up a platform with i7 >5.2GHz and 4 x HD5870 >1200MHz GPU. We tried that with an Enermax 1050W and it was a no go, we either got (in Vantage) 5,2GHz CPU and stock cards, or 1200MHz GPU's and stock CPU. I can still remember hipro using 2 PSU's for this, and Sampsa and SF3D using 3 PSU's :)
I saw some guys are jealous because Nickshih doesn't send them samples for review.
It would be nice to see if that Corsair HX1000 could do the same load that the Antec is doing, it may be labeled as a 1000 watt PSU but internally its identical to the Thermaltake Toughpower 1,500 W.
The test looks more impressive than the numbers show, all that GPU and still within the limits of a single PSU.
Already tested
