I think your project is looking great so far especially the sleeving! I like how you cut all the shrink tubing before starting your sleeving. Just curious, but what size did you cut each piece of the shrink tubing?
Thanks all!
@HazChem: Dang, you made me measure something :) 2 cm. And by the way, I check your worklog every 30 minutes to see if you've posted more progress. I'm really looking forward to your project! I like the mixing of the two shades of blue. Now, get back to work!!!

Thanks Tad.
I would but I'm waiting for the most important parts to get delivered! I don't have anything planned this weekend except to get this project moving forward!!
Excellent work! When you sleeved the HX1000 did you remove the ferrite ring on the PCI-E connections?
Thanks otogrim! Yes, I did remove the ferrite rings.
Well, my project has been on hold for a week and a half or so with finals and a NEWBORN BABY!!! So, my project is going to be slow going, but I'll get to it a couple times this month.

That bitzpower waterblock is soo bling,
I agree! Finally came in stock, had to buy it!
Whats that black piece for on the bitspower block for?
Also, did you happen to get mofset covers that match that? I'm trying to find some to go with the chrome bitspower nb/sb block I'm getting, but I cant find any.
The black piece is a block for the QPI board on the Rampage II. Ifound the MOSFET blocks, but haven't bought them yet. Try performance-pcs.com
hehe - nice TADZILLA!!!! :D:D:D
I buy the same block with mosfets. For me, it's the best block for r2e
Sorry Hglazm, I misread your post. I haven't found any chrome MOSFET blocks from Bitspower for the Rampage II board. They are black POM.
Started cutting the case a little. Using a dremel always scares me, but the nibbler is way too slow. Can anyone recommend a coping saw perhaps? I've seen people use them before, but all the ones I find at Lowes and HD are for cutting wood.
I'll post pics of the cutting soon.

well i think im going with the atcs 840 now ;)
You mean for your build or for mine? It is still a really hard choice: I like the compactness and the modding potential of the Lian-Li. It gives me the chance to use my dremel and various tools. However, the 840 more room for radiators, and is easier to build in due to its size, and wouldn't require my dremel... but it isn't a mod if your not doing some kind of dremel/nibbler work right? And the case is huge! I'm not sure if I want this thing on my desk (I don't like putting computers on the floor).
I've started cutting into the lian-li. I'll post pics once I finish cutting and cleaning up.
-TadZilla
I ment for mine as I am not Shur of a case that has
Room for a good amount of rads like the 840
And its my first mod to
@pingpong1455: The 840 will not disappoint then. It is a great case and very easy to work with.
@dualbrain: Here is a delayed THANKS! I'm working on the photography skills as I go along.
Okay, sorry for all the short updates with no pictures. Believe me, they are on the way.
I'm trying to get everything cleaned up for the photos and take work photos at the same time. I don't want to only have photos of finished stages. I need proof that I'm actually doing something :)
I placed my last big order for parts for this computer. Watercooling is fricken expensive!

1 x*** NEW *** Bitspower BP-WBPAMOS3-BK BLACK FREEZER MOS AMOSIII Water Block (BP-WBPAMOS3-BK)
The next order will be the fittings, tubing, fluid, and possibly a new pump and res, but I'm going to see if I can fit my D5 and one of my EK multioptions in the case some how and still make everything look nice. If not, I guess a DDC is in order. When I researched WC for my crossfire rig, the DDC was on people's bad lists and they said it didn't have the strength to cool everything, so I needed a D5. However, I've seen a lot of people using the DDC now for giant loops with 10 9x120 radiators, 50 GPUS, and 20 CPUS :) and the DDC does just fine with the right top. Anybody have any opinions? Like I said, I'll keep the D5 if it will fit and fit cleanly, but would anyone recommend the DDC over the D5?
Thanks all for the comments! Progress is slow, but I'm working on it!

Looks great man. Love individually sleeved wires. Been saying I'm going to do that to my PSU for the longest time, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Thanks Simonzi!
Well, I finally have some pictures of an almost finished case:

The 2x120 rad will sit higher than the picture shows. I believe I will then be able to mount another rad under it .
The fans I'm using now are the NB Multiframe fans. Don't worry, I will be re-sleeving them. The quality of the sleeving is a little better than usual, but they still don't sleeve into the frame of the fan. So, I will have to MDPC it soon. I should my other parts here on Wednesday :) Then I will mount the mobo blocks to the mobo, and take some good pictures. I will also put the case completely back together, clean it up, and mount the rad. Then I will test fit the other rad.
Thanks for looking,
-TadZilla
Oh, and at the risk of spamming my own thread... is there anyway I can get this thread moved to the Liquid Cooling Projects forum?
-TadZilla
ask shazza
Nice project, Tadilla!
Moved to LC work log section as requested.
Thanks melle.k and shazza!
YAY! I'm in the Liquid Cooling Projects forum!
