ASUS provides Phenom II single core unlock function if your X2 cannot make it X4

Hi

For the life of me I cant get my 550 to unlock to quad or a X3....mobo a m4a79-e, as soon as windows loads up i get BSOD....no matter what voltage/settings i have it on!
