Although the AN7 has large mofsets and sucks from all that I have read . The fact that the AN7 has been patched together may have a lot to do with that though .

Just in case anybody is interested . Overclocker Arena have had the Infinity up to 476mhz ( 238mhz ) with some twinmos PC3200 .
I dont get the review though . The comparison charts dont show the results . They also go into no detail , but there are a couple of good pics of the layout :

I transfered the money today early in the morning and they deliver it when they get my money :D
I hope it will be here next week. Then I could probably max it out ;) and take it to the lan party at the following weekend :D

Barton has taken a hit and I believe the beloved tbred is dead now :( Though I have another tbred 1700+ 310 xpmw it's not as good as the first one... *sigh*
My board I repaired is making trouble and sometimes it runs 250 dc 2,0-2-2-11 sometimes it refuses booting into win at 240 :mad:
Maybe I did hurt some traces though it seems to work well IMO

Just out of interest , you must put more than 2v through your CPU's . Are you planning on finding out about a Vmod for the vcore ? As far as I can see the 2v vcore is the only weak point of this board ( although its not that low compared to other boards)

It is a tempting board for sure . Only time will tell if DFI have managed to pull one out of the bag :)

Now, I have a Chaintech 7NJL1, but I want Soundstorm, SATA, Firewire and the Nforce 2 ultra 400. And the new board has to be as beautifull as my Apogee, and the Lanparty definately is :)
I was choosing between the Abit AN7 and the Lanparty, but I don't trust the AN7 anymore after al the stories
Abit did not want to bin a whole load of PCB's that they discovered didnt work right. So they fixed them and shipped what they had . Thats my take anyway for what its worth :)
A new revision of the board will be the one to get . How does the saying go ?

So I am gonna try out at 2V first...
BTW I think what sucks for me is the board (repaired) since it refuses high stable cpu clocks with whatever fsbs... :(

I am aware of the tax issue ;) I have ordered stuff from the States before . Its still going to be about £35-40 cheaper than buying the LanParty in the UK :)
Plus DFI deal direct with motherboard RMA's. Not the retailer .
