Side panel modification seems good but only negative issue is that you will not see your reservoir when you look your panel directly. By the way, you should hide your cables on bottom well.
Keep up the good work mate.
ofc, all the other cables will be sleeved and hidden too ;)
well it doesn't matter at all that I won't be able to see the reservoir after bleeding.
but it depends on the angle, u can actually look at the reservoir to check if everything is ok

The panels did come out great.
Why so much view on the bottom though?
well this was my first idea
http://alexiel.stor.li/v2000/panellinks2.jpg
but it was to risky that the stripes probably bend during cutting.
finally, the other parts arrived these days:

actually I made a lil mistake with the width of the radiators...so I have to mount them a bit different than I thought since I don't buy other radiators.

gonna mount the second dual at the midplate...

...and mount the other one at the top

looking good mate, cant wait to see this one all finished!
Good thing it's on wheels :p:
Nice build...I'll be watching :)
looking good! Are you running 1 or 2 pumps for your setup??
thx guys =)
well don't know yet, maybe I'll add a second pump or just split it in 2 loops.
mh don't know. gonna check that later on.
and a lil update: finished the side panels

I like your choice of case. Your mods are very unique and makes a TJ07 look bad. Heh I am looking forward to the end of this build. You should use some nice UV colors because I like it. HAH Have fun as I am having fun reading this
good job man
LIAN LI should start producing this case again with the looks of the v2010, huge bottom space of the V2000 and inverted atx , and maybe 8x 5.25" :P
that would be a BOMB of a case:)
yeah the v2000 is just perfect.
would love to see a tower like the v2000 but with even more space ^^
I thought about the v2000 and came to the conclusion that won't work for her.
There is just not enough room for all hdd's at all.
She will get my second MM Ascension and I gonna take the v2000 for my second system. It's way better for a workstation board + watercooling + the amount of hdds.
So there will be another log for that one too =)
Let's get back to the v2000.

http://alexiel.stor.li/v2000/31.08.%20quad2.jpg
the quad fits perfect but the dual won't fit at all cause the quad is a bit to high.
but I had an idea, actually I do not need a dvd drive, so lets mount the dual at the front
http://alexiel.stor.li/v2000/31.08.%20dualtop2.jpg
and the other one a bit further
http://alexiel.stor.li/v2000/31.08.%20dualtop.jpg
gonna mod the original hdd racks and mount em in the bottom too, so there won't be a prob at all.
but there would be no possibility to mount 2 gpus. Or I could get a 295gtx.
Don't know yet which way to go:
1. use the quad + 1 dual for cpu+mb+1-2gpus
2. use the quad + 2 dual for cpu+mb+1 gpu
What do you think? Would the quad + dual (fans @ push'n'pull) enough for lets say the mb, a i920 and uhm 2x 4890's ?
hmmm, im gonna say be safe and use all the rads. But there is a way u can also have 2 gpus with all those rads. don't mount it on the top. U can either sandwich the two smaller ones together in the front racks. Or u can re-arrange the whole setup. mount the quad on the floor board, ur gonna have to cut up that floor board though. and then u should have room in the bottom for the 2 duals, sorta sandwiched together. Give it a try before doing anything else, it should work.
Btw, did u cut the side panels on ur own? Im looking to do something similar to my v2k but using a feser 360 and 240.
hm gonna give it a try to sandwich em. I wanted to mount the hdds at the bottom, so there is no room for any radiator and it will stabilize the tower.
the sidepanels were laser cut ;)
Alright tell me how the sandwich goes.
Btw i only have a small hdd holder from the v1000 in my v2k. stability isn't really an issue for my v2k.
Mind telling me where u got it laser cut? i need to get my v2k project up and running already lol.
well it would actually work but sry for the pic quality ^^

http://alexiel.stor.li/v2000/31.08.%20sandwich1.jpg
yeah I know that stability isn't a prob at all but that would work perfect. better stability + room for 4 hdd ^^
well do u live in germany? otherwise won't work ^^
wow are you running two 2x120mm in the drive cage? you should just run the 4x120mm on the bottom with a 2x120mm vertically mounted imo. Btw, are those the silverstone rd09 mounting brackets for the radiator?
Nice panels man. I'm really digging the clean cuts with the mesh.
Those brackets look like the Aquacomputer ones. I was trying to get a hold of some but they're near-impossible to find.
