P45 with a quadcore and hd4870... is there any game you cant play? :confused:
id recommend you to buy a bigger display and maybe vga instead of new cpu and mainboard and possibly memory
24 inches of full HD is good enough for me :D I just can't play everything on max settings, so clearly I need to upgrade to full i7 setup.
I also have some seriously annoying stability issues with this mb, so might as well buy something fun :D

I upgraded from X48 to X58, not because I needed to for games, just because I felt like building again and selling my X48 parts off.
Next upgrade will just be DX11 graphics cards next year, although one of my 4870's has began artifacting with the ram at stock clocks, so I might try to RMA it for a 4890 =P. Need to uncustomise it first and cant be bothered right now.
Good looking board. I'm really glad they got rid of the IDE and floppy connectors and added additional SATA. I'm currently running 6 internal SATA drives (4x HDD, 2x Optical) and an additional 2 eSATA 640gb drives.
Hopefully this board wont cost a fortune (but i know it will). I'll probably be buying it regardless.
