Haha, I kinda lost interest about the time I got a pile of parts that resulted in an i7 machine tbh. The bandwidth on that thing at stock speeds is literally double my relatively tweaked Phenom II. However my PSU started crying about the time that I passed 4.4ghz so I am back to the AMD until monday.Quote:

i found out the nb speed ws extremely important. i moved it from 2000 to 2600 and gained over 1200 in read
another sleepless nite :coffee:
atleast your machine is running i have modded my 4850 bioses and it wont start without a bsod now.
What cards? Brand etc etc......where are you located....I can probably striaghten them out....I know a thing or 2 about the bios's ;)Quote:

Not that high.......Honestly made it a while ago....
My guess is you added to much volts to your bios.....the card has a limit for voltage via bios or rivatuner......It needs a hard mod for higher.
i have the volts set at 1.158
looks like I was running 1.084 in that bios.
thats lower than stock.
That sucks! It looks like Chew has the hookup for you though, all I ever did with my x2's was flash them to Asus TOP bios and I haven't even done that to my 4870. My nvidia cards that I've had in the past I flashed all the time though.Quote:
