Well smart I honestly don't know but if you recall......I had some ES samples a ways back.......pre 955.....you probably remember the results I got with it.....Turns out the 955 retail matched and exceeded those particular ES chips I had. One can only hope this will be the 955's sucessor :)

Thanks for the kudos guys. Sampsa, you might be right about LP Jr. :-) I only had 100L of LHe to work with so I did not have much time to fiddle with VDD. I think I could have gotten a SPI run at 6.8GHz if I had just a few more minutes of LHe.

About the CPUs we used at this event in Miami. They are not retail, yet. I don't know if you would call them pre-retail or ES. Considering we are way past the ES stage of processor development maybe pre-retail makes more sense. I can not say more about it.

hard to tell from the pics, what type of delivery system are you using for the helium? Does it pour frmo a transfer hose into an open pot? Or is the pot semi sealed? what type of pot also F1EE or something else?
