Yes you make a good point. The 2900XT did well in 3dMark. It done better in 3dmark than you would have expected it to do in Games. I had a 2900XT and I sold it because of driver issues. The guy I sold it to knew the driver issues, and its comparable lagging in games but just wanted it foremost to pair with his other X2900XT for benching.Quote:

I'm willing to bet that news sites have an impact (THG particularly). People read it, see a product is doing well then go ahead and when someone else asks "what do you recommend?" that person will be influenced by particular articles. And heck I feel most people are influenced by brands especially processor and graphics card brands and will base their entire computer decision on those two parts.Quote:
