What did you expect ? 1.25Vcore ? There has to be a catch with these low end CPU's... My E7400 does 4ghz ( 8x500 ) at 1.32Vcore which is pretty nice, but I've seen loads of others barely breaking 3.8Ghz. Some luck is involved. But bang for the buck these might be nice CPU's.

Anyone got also this cpu ? Maybe some new results ? I maybe buy this cpu in next week soo I need more screen, fpo/batch info ;) Oh and ... maybe someone have old good batch of E6600 to compare or E6700 ?

don't get your hopes up too high. most of these screens that people post are good batches and give good results. if you have an expectation that it will do 4.5ghz or over, you'll be disappointed.
I know about this. My two friend's testes this cpu ; one not too mouch and hit 400 FSB soo it's too slow, second hit almost 4.3GHz at hmm 1.4V at air of course and not full stable.
For me will be good 4GHz or more 24/7 and bench stable @ air at 4.5 ( or more ) with good vcore = not more than 1.55 for bench of course.

What is the max 24/7 voltage for one of these chips? I will be upgrading to i7 or i5 in Oct. so I was thinking of running one of these as hard as possible until then haha. Would 1.5v be okay?
Mine is just running now, batch Q907a427. Vid 1.275
Runs now at 450FSB with 7X, 1.2Vcore in bios ( no LLC ), under load 1.15 on the stock cooler. Hope she can do 500FSB...

3.920 GHZ with 1.368 idle and 1.312 load i have a MB with big vdroop around 0.04-0.05v but at 80$ what can i ask from Asrock P45DE..:D
4ghz 1.384 under load... 1.408 idle
490 FSB stable, 500 FSB reached but not stable due the fact i have some cheap memory..:up:
Working on a 4.2-4.3 settings...
My opinion these chips are definetly better than E5xxx due the high bus at which can work...

I have one of those in my wifes machine and it's been kicking for the last year at 3.6 with no problems, it's a great chip for hte price!
What is a little sad ist that chips do 4ghz > with a little more voltage than should need, i mean it's a huge difference between 3.9ghz and 4ghz.. And beyond 4ghz it's scalling not so good with voltage...
my expectations were a little too high with these chips so it got me the disappointment. bought one a little over a month ago and the VID was too high and 4ghz needed ~1.4v, so i sold it right away. bought another one with the same results more or less, also selling it in the FS section. lol anyone interested?
lol these haven't been out for a year. they're the newer 45nm e6300 out for ~2months. yeah intel is retarded for recycling the name again and i'm sure you're not the only one that mistaken it with the older version

Good work mate, I could run mine stable at 520 FSB for benching, but mine topped at 535FSB for short runs... Still a nice CPU bang for the buck wise. Doing a roundup between this one, the E7400 and the E8600 to recompare the cache influence again.
Very well, i hope thay you will do some oc comparation too.
I hope that an E6300 3.9-4ghz at a high bus 490-500 can match E8400 stock in majority of games..
I already compared the E7400 against the E8600, so will just be adding the results of this CPU at the different clockspeeds...

This CPU is some funky :banana::banana::banana::banana: :) Just got it 3 days ago. This is from my 12h blend session, I also did small ftt's for 12h overnight, but I didn't grab a screenshot. I'd propably manage to get a little better score with some more fine tuning, I only spent a few hours on this cpu to get it to this point. But I cba really, this works perfectly for me for 24/7 use - nice clock, low voltages (also on my mobo), stable and good temps :)
But I have to admit I was a little scared when I first seen the VID... Thankfully it goes to 4.0ghz with pretty low volts, tho it seems scaling gets a lot worse after this. I'd have to pump it up to around 1.36v to get it stable at 4.1, I think 4.2 would be possible with 1.4v. But then temps would be a few C's higher, so it's not worth it for daily use.

Nice CPU Kyo', mine needs a tad more vcore for 4ghz, again you prove VID isn't the golden egg as many think, there are some pretty good high VID clockers around. so nice to run a 90 euro CPU at 4ghz daily...
Ahhhh this chip is interesting
however i will go for E5200 (much cheaper haha)
