Grate Work Gabe !
I like the internal schematics and the pressure drop graphs.
That is some valuable and interesting information.
I bet it performs very well.
Keep up the good work :)

my next GPU/(s) will have a swiftech block thats for sure .
Nice block!
The cooling structure on the GPU area looks promising. :)
This block makes me want to buy a 285 now.....
Gabe, did you get my PM about your other blocks?
Gee all these full covers cost so much :( this one looks really nice though.
really nice :)
The real question is for which PCB design is the block made, as I am seeing many many different designs.
We are currently working on Gainward new PCB designed 260/275/285 which block will be out in 7 days.
Also Zotac has it's own PCB design, and nvidia has 2 different PCB designs of 260 already, cant say about 285, so please make sure when buying the block, which version of the card you have.
If you need any help, please contact EK support!
Eddy, I have to ask that you don't make posts like this in other manufacturer's product release threads (or other threads like it)....it could set a precedent where every manufacturer would be talking about their own products in other manufacturer's threads.
We don't want to have pissing matches in threads that a manufacturere started to show off their own product, ya know what I mean?
@Vapor...Quick question....Is it wrong to get turned on by Butters repeatedly touching Wendy's implant?
As to not totally derail this thread....Gabe....Again nice block!
Damn....:shakes: That's what I thought too! Well now to spend more money on a shrink!
to me it sounded like Eddy was just providing a valuable warning on PCB design from one block manufacturer to another.
I loled at the "please contact ek tech support" part tho :)
if a polycarbonate top is provided that would be a huge plus for me.
Is there a big performance boost to be gained from OCing the GTX285 like the HD4890 ? I havent been able to found out how big a gain it gives in games when watercooled and pushed hard.
we discriminate against people from Hawaii. you guys have it too :surf: sweet over there, so you need to be :slapass: punished in other ways :rocker:
seriously, sorry about this. your'e fully entitled to complain. I have been working with a vendor to redesign our web site for almost a year now, and they're not done yet.

You got a top10 result with liquid cooling? Aint like top100 done with LN2?
Iam just thinking, if I bought a HD4890 and OCed it with water how much would the gains be compared to a watercooled GTX285 oced as I guess they dont OC exactly the same, but I know the HD4980 oc very well.
yep.. 24249 on Apr 06 placed me #9 if I recall correctly. This is filtered with only GTX285, and single adapter. A couple of guys came in since then and pushed me back to #12, but you can check it out here:
http://www.madonion.com/search/3dmar...filtering=-100
actually I'll spare you the search, here are the details I listed back then: Ci7/Apogee GTZ W/B: 4345@1.57 - GTX285/Komodo full cover W/B: 756/1748/1242 - Bench W/C (2) MCR320, (2) MCP655 -
The cards clock nicely if kept cool :) this block's very tempting
Quite sad to see that this is about the most expensive 285 block around.
While Eddy's post may have been slightly self-advertising, it's the one question I wanted answered and the one question that has yet to be answered...
Will this fit the new PCB design that EVGA is using?
Click the link and read the text:
I believe the P891 is the original reference design.Quote:
