Thanks for the info!
Can you test Vantage CPU test on air? That would tell us what to expect
I ran 2 32M under cold with D0 cpu under cascade.
Very low vcore for 5300Mhz

5297mhz at 1.44v 32M! wow!
It Looks like I am going to have to buy a EVGA Classified to pair up with either a 975 or a 950.
The 950 should be able to get close to 5.0GHz on water and maybe 5.4-5.5 with a 975 based on the above Bench.
Plus BartX just shipped me my first DICE/LN2 pot. Time to do some DICE benching later in June/July with a new D0 system.

Nice !
i must have one 975 DO
Fantastic numbers man... with just Air :D
congrats pcriminal and yoko! :D :toast:
thats a sweet chip... amazing to see 5g on air when most 965s cant even get near that with ln2! :D how does it clock on ln2 though?
amd managed to hit 7g on liquid helium, but on air they still clock the same
intel amanged to hit 5g on air, but i suspect on ln2 they still clock the same
i think intels approach makes a lot more sense... i hope amd focusses on better air ocing as well instead of liquid helium results that maybe 2 or 3 oc teams in the whole world can reproduce or beat.
wha? :eh:
i think you didnt follow i7 ocing very closely, most chips, even 920s, can hit 4.5 on air now, not fully stable though...
but going cold barely helps at all, going from air to ln2 sometimes only gains you 100mhz. most of the time its more, a couple hundred mhz, but i7 chips dont really scale properly with cold for some reason...

Why are you hide cpu-z info in the pictures ? why erase :ROTF:
All I have to say is this::up::clap::eek::D
OOPS, I just saw that SP32m time..
HOLY CRAP!
6m 49.515s on air..
That ought to have the boys wetting their shorts come morning when the US wakes up! :)
what was prime stable AIR OC?I dont bellieve 5GHz :) (maybe 4300-4400MHz?)
Awesome cpu!!!!
Keep it up!:D
I hope that all retail cpus can do 5200+ 32M stable:D
only 7ghz? 8 is must :D

many thanks for all replys ,im a little busy with kids and work and i have no time to benching well :)
HEHEHE
from my source this will be on stores at may 27th
Phenoms are amazing for extreme cooling but they need to improve air capacity, with a high end air my new Phenom 945 ran Pi at 4140MHz .. thats only..
http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/730...phenom2945.jpg
think about 5.4GHz+ :)
I cant wait to see what the retail can do ;)
yeam retail 975, that s the :banana::banana::banana:z, i'm saving my beer cans, hopefully i'll save enough for the chip...
wahooooooooooooo :surf:
