I notice that some of you don't really care for the thumbnails. Is there any other way you would like me to upload the pics? Not mad or anything, but yes I will agree that even for me it sucks loading the thumbnails.

Well you just post the code it gives you what has [img] at each end of it. That should just post the pics.
Well heres how i'll post my picks for now on. Heres an example of a pic I took a week or so ago.

So can we have updates soon?
Sure, as soon as the case gets back from the shop. I'm hoping some time next week. Who knows though because I'm still in the process of upgrading my home theatre as well:D
that's how I like to see pictures showed ;)
I'll be awaitin' your progress :)
Update:
Called the machine shop today. They just started to work on my case. It should be done in a week. Also the lamptron case handles showed up today.
In the mean time though I'm actually building a computer for a friend so that should keep me busy.
This looks good so far, looking forward to the next update.
Update:
Called the machine shop today. I'm picking the case up tomorrow. I will be posting pics as soon as I get a chance. The engineer said its coming out very nicely.
Check it out!
See how the mid section plate is cut to make way for the rad.

The only problem actually is the case handle hole mount on the top panel. There just a little too small. All I need to do is buy a slightly larger drill bit and just bore it out. The case handles come with washers so no worries there. After that the case will be off to the powder coaters. The case handles and case feet will be powder coated to match the case. For the rad grill and window panel, i'll be using acorn screws to mount them. Enjoy the pics!
Nice, I have a v1200 I'm deciding what to do with now. I did have a few questions for you. I see you only have one video card now but if you decide to go sli down the road, won't that top rad in the back get in the way of a second video card (or any other card)? And what about the power button in the front where the other rad will be. Are you planning on moving that or just bring air in around it. I was considering downing what you are but the power button appears smack in the middle.
Well for one the top fan is only a blowhole. There won't be a rad installed in the top. Thats why I cut the mid chamber, so I can have a dual front mount. However given the circumstance, if you did have sli or crossfire with a top mount rad it would not fit. As for the power button, the rad is spaced far enough from the front so the switch can clear. Thats why I had to get the custom made brackets. I hope I answered your questions alright.
Update:
The case parts were dropped off at the local powder coater today. They said it should take 7-10 days. Kinda sucks because I'm about to go on leave around the same time. I might not get this build done now closer to the end of june. Oh and if anyone is curious I had them powder coat it matte black. The reason is that it goes on thinner than vulcan, or satin black. It should still look pretty nice though.
Update:
Case is still not back. Its been over a week now. Its suppose to be done this week. Unfortunantly this build isn't gonna start again till I get back from leave now. Its to far into the week now because i'll be out of town this friday and won't be back till june 19th.
Update: :D
This is turning into an extremely cool build! Good parts in general and extra nice PSU.
Update:
I got a call from the powder coaters, and the case is finished. However I'm still out of town and won't be able to pick it up till the 19th.
sweet build on a LiLi!
Finally got the case reassembled. I think it turned out great!

Unfortunantly though, the rad brackets aren't fitted correctly. The rad sits too high, I have to take the case back to the machine shop to get new brackets. Then I have to install most of the pc hardware and take it back again to size up the res to make a custom mount for proper clearance. I'm guess I have yet another 2 weeks or so to go before this gets finished, maybe more. I am taking the case back this upcoming monday to get started.
Any question or more pics feel free to ask. Enjoy!
More pics please :D :yepp:
That case turned out great.
That window is so simple yet amazing!
Beautiful
Exceptional. Staring at your most recent build photos actually calmed me down. Love it.
Better shot of the front bay. You can see the space for the radiator. You have to use your imagination for now, but it will look pretty slick.

Just a simple shot of the rear. If you can tell the I/O panel as two holes on the right. My rivet gun doesn't fit in between there. Same goes for the bottom of the motherboard tray. So both have to get taken care of when I drop it off. its just 5 rivets total that are left.

that looks bad ass.
Lian Li V1ks have always been my favorite cases. The addition of those case handles and slick powder coat makes your rig even more stupidly gorgeous.
