I really hope I can finally ditch my DDC-2's. I mean I have them monitored by my Big-NG, but still have that worry in the back of my head.

Do these work with the tops we have for the 3.2??? If they do I'm buying one ASAP!
Interesting... and confusing.
So Koolance Laings are already 3.25. What about other brands?
*Goes to check lables*
Doesn't specify anything on the lables of un-relabled Laing DDCs, it seems.
it says here that PMP-400 has Maximum Head Pressure: 4.6m (15ft)

how many versions are there of this pump??
cool stuff, thanks for sharing
SWEET! Thanks Dean.
I think it's great your selling these but I'm really hoping Swifty will start selling these as well because I've gotten kind of attached to paying $55 for my pumps @ the Egg and modding. I really can't justify some of the prices we pay for some of this stuff...it just doesn't add up to me.
Gabe, Please start re-badging 3.15 and 3.25 really soon. Please...
....come on....
....what's taking so long....
:ROTF: (that's my inner crack head @ 30%, don't make me release him @ 100% ;))
i was just gonna say that.
Isnt this the ever so legendary DDC-2 which i am the only person on this forum running them in pairs on a dual inlet dual top.
U guys see what i mean about the vets on this forum is usually 6-8 months AHEAD of everyone. (DDC-2's tho were around a VERY LONG TIME)
:shakes:
I wonder how the reliability is on them. If you recall there was a ton of RMA's on the DDC-2.
Label on DDC-2

Dean i hate you, your gonna make me swap out all my DDC-3.2's huh?
Ahh the memories, long before NaeKuh was a member here...

Time to ditch my DDC 3.2 so I can go buy some Koolance PMP400s/DDC3.25s....:D
It looks like the impeller top is the same smaller inlet size as the DDC 3.2, so I'm guessing the aftermarket tops are all still compatible if they were 3.2 designs.
And for the record, Dean is the winner "First to post pictures"...:)
Looks like an old orange DDC 2 impeller base/vanes and a DDC 3.2 blue (smaller inlet) top piece...cool!!
hehe i went to dual DDC-2s in may 2005
too bad i never took pics of this setup (it was a Storm on a capped opteron 170m DFI ultra-d with 2 gigs of ram (cpu was crap, only went to 2.8ghz @ 34°C....) and my good old x1900 xtx :D)
flow was awesome, even the mcres micro pulled in some air bubbles once it was only 80% full :D
and it was the most expensive setup i ever had, what a waste of money :ROTF:
well the build i'm working on is almost on the same level, almost (more expensice WC gear, cheaper parts) :D
back on topic: this comes at the right time, i have to get one of these from the UK as one of my DDC-2s died this week...
the price of the Koolance PMP-400s are too high (£80), I have 6 ddc3.2s i'd like to replace with them but i'll have to see if i can get them cheaper elsewhere
bwahahaha i so called it this year.
Koolance will most likely be #1 by the end of this year. (martin u so know i told you this)
Unless Gabe and Eddie pwn us with something new and revolutionary.
i think gabe really needs to answer this thread.
But the difference is the impeller andy. the 3.25's have the orage base blue top impeller while the 3.2's have the blue, and the 2's are orange/red.
the last swiftech pump i bought was pure blue so that meant it was a 3.2 original.
