wow nice contest, but here you forget sth.. limitation of nature is good for lowclock challenge but you must say that all tests should be run at the same gpu clocks that is used in nature to get 1200fps :D cause lets say,i can run 285gtx@790mhz for 1200fps and other tests at 285gtx@1100mhz :p:

Vince, about the cap. Do you have to get max 1200fps or just count with 1200fps even if you're above?

plus, even we limit gpu mhz, say that i can run my worst efficient nature with very high clocks, then at that clocks i can run other tests,, this again sh*t everything :p:

Great idea!

I arranged similar contest in Finland last year. We counted only 500 fps in nature, cause it was meant to be for low end GPU's too. If someone got over that cap, we calculated the final score.
Nature is 20x fps = XXXX points. So, if someone go over 1200fps, it is easy to calculate what is the final contest score. We didn't have any problems with this in that contest.

If cap limit is 1200FPS, you limit the other tests as well; if you just re-calculate with 1200FPS, there's no point in adding the cap, because higher clocked systems will still rule in the 6 other tests.

Pieter.. You are wrong. This is low clock challenge and nature cap is needed. You will see how limited the 4.2GHz system will be even with all possible tweaks. Nature need to have cap, cause in that part you can get a lot higher score with just aircooled VGA and I don't think it is the point in this contest.

Who will have the best software tweaks and best subsystem tweaks, will rule this competition. We already saw a nice start from Hipro.

Hey, a nice challenge. But I'm having a hard time reaching the 1400 cap with two 280's on air at 735/1410. I'm runing around in circles at 1050ish and kinda lost. It may be my poor ddr3. I will be back :- )
