I think the question should be rephrased to: How long can we expect gaming keep up with an E8500?

the fact is .. not much games utilize 2 core or multi-core, unfortunately, the CPU chip technology shoot up too high, that the programmers are unable to catch up with them

until now, regardless having rich programmers, poor programmers, amateur programmers or skilled programmers, most application produced still could not fully utilize the CPU advantages.
