I have tried to push down the plate and what i can see it´s not bending anything, so yes it´s enough with material to hold down the block. And i will use the GTZ backplate. Have remove about 2-3mm on each side.

Well I ordered the GTZ mounting kit (including backplate) and ordered the EK backplate. I think the EK backplate has a bigger mounting surface and therefore can distribute mounting pressure more evenly. I hope it will work and fit nicely. But I almost think it will because the holes for bolting should be lined up de same.

Here is a pics with the backplate to. Fits perfect :)

If I received my parts and modified them I will tell you if the GTZ bracket will fit the EK backplate.
