If the words "extremely well" are going to be used, I would expected at least 2000MHz speeds to be achievable at the very least.

Where are you getting this information that AM3 will clock DDR3 "extremely well" anyhow? Was this backed up by any solid numbers or just a "I heard that..."? I'm not doubting AM3's potential, just trying to figure out if this is actually a reliable statement or wishful thinking on your part.
It came from a friend with AMD ties(amd italy).He didn't say 2Ghz clock ,nor he mentioned CPU models used.He just said clocking extremely well and much higher than supported speeds(1333 is max. supported).But the dude is not "xtreme" in any way,so his "extreme" could be our "meh" :p:.That's why I used 1.6Ghz number,just to be on the safe side :D.
