Rip, I have an E6700 like that...just it's not crap when you look at the clockspeeds :p:
Call it 'Dave'. Never fails...
But its not old enough, nor does it have white hair and bushy eye brows. And to truly be called Dave, it needs a pink tutu. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
I'll just see myself out for a short vacation and save Dave the trouble.

That avatar I had Marty swap for him is never going to die is it?
I am so Dead................
I'm really surprised by the lapped TrueCu. It's amazing.

Vapowich
And with shrouds... Vapowich with Cheese.
I think I'll stick with "Vapor Club Sandwich r1" :)
Rev2's goal will be to integrate an excessive and adjustable pumping system into the rad/res ;)
It'll give me the ability to use any block(s) I want :D. Hopefully I'll be able to add on to the plethora of thermal testing already here at XS :D
EDIT: I just saw skinnee's "Vapowich" and I'm starting to like that as well! :)

vapor bust out the scareface accent and go meet my little friend.
VAP 9000 should do nicely.

VapoRad 120.5!
VCSr1.1 results! :p:
VCSr1.0 is exactly as above with the following loop order:
Apogee Drive -> MCR-220 Res -> MCR-320 -> Apogee Drive
VCSR1.1 has the following loop order (was done so it's easier to bleed more than anything, but the results were great!):
Apogee Drive -> MCR-320 -> MCR-220 Res -> Apogee Drive

VCSr1.2 will probably get running tonight :)
VCSr1.3 tomorrow :up:
VCSr2.0...probably 10 days :) Need some ideas for which CPU blocks to buy for testing (am 99% sure I'm going to buy Koolance 350, Swiftech GTZ, and EK Supreme so far...considering AC XT Di as well....LGA1366 and compression fitting compatibility is greatly preferred).
EDIT: clarification of terms: "All out" means lapped + insane pressure mount. "Stock" means stock, so stock fans (maxing out at 2000RPM, not 2500 as in the graph) and HydrX were used. "All 1300RPMs" and "All 2500RPMs" means that two fans at said speeds were used for the TRUE(Cu) and the H20-220 Compact and that three fans were used for the VCSr1.X!
you're already going to have a rev 2.0 that quickly?
sit back and enjoy the results for a change :p:
Vapor, how about you give the Enzotech Luna a shot? It's a new block that is supposedly quite good (albeit rather expensive). And maybe a gelid RT12 fan :wasntme:.
Hmmm, completely overlooked it, but it looks interesting for sure. 3/4" compressions not working is a minus, but survivable :p:
As for the Gelids, I think I'm done with fan testing...and getting 25mm fans in the sandwich would be basically impossible the way I have set it up now :-/ (I'm guessing that's what the RT12 is....google search turns up nothing :()
