center inlet is 45 degree so you can fit compressions.

What do you not see in the block design? it has a wash on 4 ends and water gets pulled from the other side.

The middle plate is like a nozzle the d-tek has, and the block is bowed. Abet not as bowed as the d-tek with the larger oring, but it has a bow.

The difference is the micropin structure. The center base pins more mirror a GTZ.

The center injector is even shaped so it channels water just like the d-tek nozzle, so scott what are you talking about?

So what do you not quite get?

And scott how is it a poor design? its eating my EK supreme from first testing.
And people who use them are reporting very happy temps.

Infact show me why the D-tek is better with higher pressure pumps, because i can see the higher profile pins being an excess then helping with high pressure.

My mistake, I thought that the top was side to side inlet/outlet... Or perhaps it is and that is the mid plate?

Edit, ok is that the top? Just the bottom side pictured? Seems to me the plastic clear piece is not even needed... if you could get a 5mm nozzle in the center of the top, no reason for the plastic piece. Would be much less restrictive too.

now i'm confused. What is the best block I can get? I will likely have a GPU block in the loop at some point in the future.

I don't know what the best is, but I'm going GTZ. I like the backplate, I like the mounting. I've seen results from mnay other users and it seems like a fine block. Run in it's own loop I don't seen any issues with at all.

I don't like getting into "best arguments" because what is "the best" for one person may not be for another...YMMV. Your setup may also vary.

I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the GTZ.

I don't know if I would trust that, using the metal washers seems like it would result in a much more secure mounting.

I think Dtek will be releasing the backplate soon...like as in first week for February....

I hope...I really want to keep my V2 block....but man they are lagging...

From what I was told by D-TEK switched the manufacturing facility that make their brackets. Bad timing but you have to do what you have to do I suppose.

Pick up some of those wider metal washers from your local hardware store, should be enough to apply a good amount of pressure securely.

Not a big fan of the GTZ.....how about the HeatKiller 3.0? I like the looks of the EK Supreme LT too... BTW, Salapao, great work! :up:

Ok, so if anyone is interested I had a hold down bracket from the Fuzion v1 and it does fit the Enzotech I7 adapter, so this could be a solution for those with the D-Tek.
