Show me a negative comment I've made about PH2 and I'll show you a positive comment. That's the problem with some of you, you don't want to see FACTS. I crave for the facts. OUT! (I mean it this time) :D

Sure you are,but you can't see it from a side, like others can.Oh btw, don't worry,i "don't get paid to do this" since if i was it wouldn't be the job of choice for me :p: .You come to AMD section in a time when AMD is about to launch a great product and you ask me(a not so yesterday regged user) if i'm getting payed ?You prove the troll statement yourself.
Lesson:stay out of AMD section if is this your only way of "not praising blindly".Nobody is here praising blindly anything,we just like AMD products(more) ,we don't hate nor bash intel products.I hope you can learn this lesson and stay out of the section more.Thank you for reading, bye.
Who knows, maybe it wasn't stable at def. ?:D Joking aside, the board is overvolting a bit,the def. Vcore for Deneb and Shanghai is 1.35V.
Also they picked some weird hardware and settings.......the Asrock mobo? 4850? then they use 1680x1050.......this seems like a very low budget "Ill test with whatever I have lying around" kind of setting. And really reminds me of a teenager trying to farce a review.......maybe their site has been hacked:ROTF:

:D lol I thought read Deneb default voltage was lke 1.2 or 1.25....... thats a lot of overvolt.
really I think its all fake I run 1.36v on my Phenom to get it to run heavy benchies @3ghz seems to similar
Yeah the 1.35V for a stock vcore seems a bit high(esp. for 45nm) but this iteration of process node from AMD brings some massive improvements.Even with the the higher than expected vcore,Deneb is very power efficient core.It means they have additional headroom to lower the core voltage a bit as the process matures and get higher speed bins out within the standard power envelopes.
Looks almost as if they are trying to make the deneb chip look like a bad product , thats why im waiting for the real benchies on friday god 2 more days >.>
Just reading thru here and can we keep it friendly guys?
Thanks!
Yeah its friendly I even brought a fridge full of beer for all of us ^ ^ :D
I tried to chill them with ln2 and dice but the would freeze sorry OC's i failed xD
Lol OCW just lost what little credibility they had..
why the FACK is config used for Qx and i7 not mentioned
who the hell uses 1066 @ 5-7-7-24 on phenom :shakes:
Doesn't it seem like to anyone that OCW are being paid by ASROCK to promote asrocks mobo by doing such stupid BREAK THE NDA review. Any way all they did was opposite , make Asrock mobo look really bad.
from that review it appears the phenom II will build its success based on how well it overclocks. the stock settings give intel some and amd some.
i agree about them bein paid by asrock.. i couldnt belive how many times he had to get a plug in on that mobo lol and i didnt even read half the text
the CPU score on 3dmark 06 is way too LOW I can score 4,100 cpu points at 3.0ghz
and this benchmark looks like was in vista 64 bit.
The only people that can break the NDA are "trusted" "reliable" reviewers that AMD have sent chips out to in advance in order that they can have a properly done review ready for the NDA dropping. Not every hardware site gets the opportunity to break an NDA. I've no idea if these guys broke an NDA or not, but based on the quality of their reviews I'd guess they didn't.
Sorry but the whole point of amd's new line is the actual platform.......Dragon platform that is.....therefore by default you will see most benches by reviewers using ATI cards.
If ATI cards perform better with AMD vs Intel or vice versa thats the whole point of testing them............just as if intel performed better than amd with nvidia............
Long story short platforms are required to compare tests, unless you have some way of benching 2 chips side by side sitting in a tray.............
Well the only good thing im going to take from that bad "review", is despite the motherboard, and the bad memory timings the PII still looks pretty good. And it can only get better from there. Slap a DFI or Asus board together with some better ram and that sucker will hopefully fly.
amds approach since they have bought ati is the platform. they are focusing more on how the chipsets video cards and cpus work together. thats why you hear a lot about this fusion stuff and about the spider and dragon platforms. and if amd cpus work better with ati cards than intel ones do then its an advantage to buy an amd cpu.
I dont think we are doing a Vs here we are just runing benchies and comparing them to the intel numbers and the new icore7 ,and if we did so what ? The phenom II could prove and im sure it will that it will say to the world " Hey I can provide you a kick ass gaming rig same as intel but half the price , so you can use the other half to watercool me or more mods or games " :hehe::slobber:
When AMD speaks about Spider platform and now Dragon platform, people laugh loudly. Now with C2Q on socket 775, i7 on socket 1366 and future i5 on socket 1156 platform mean something.
Actually for the pricetag of and i7 platform you get a free 4870 with your Q9550 or PII 940.
