wow...........
LardArse - sorry to be pushy but does the bios have working multipliers or not on the albatron kt800
Yes, the multipliers work fine in the bios, but only lower ones allowed of course.
afaik, doesn't matter, crystal cpuid and clockgen both change multi and its still changed during bootup.
You need to cool your ram... hehe.
Nice work there LardArse :toast:
Can you run Sandra unbuffered?
That Lobby hi at 280 seem a bit low thou (150.4). At 2.2GHz 244x9 1:1 on K8V I can hit almost 149FPS. So maybe shuttle mobo is slowing some settings down in order to hit the high RAM OC?
I dunno but that was the slowest combo I've found so far for A64 :DQuote:
winxp
3.2's dx 8.1
Even CAT 3.7 and DX9 are better, CAT3.5&DX9 might be even better
Sure macci, I'll give it a go later. I just had time for a quick 272 x 9.5 1:1 run @ cas 2.0,2,2,13. LDT @ 2X. 2.5X LDT seems benchable with 1.5v LDT but a lil scared to run that yet from the CPU deaths I've heard, but I'll prolly give it a go later as well.
Did a bit over 26k with Radeon @ 533/407.

now i'm really glad i decided to buy hyperX pc3500 months ago hehehehehe =) ..... but 3.5v to 4v vdimm ??? OMG do you use any cooling on those rams ??
Ok, noobie question: How do I run unbuffered, I disabled buffer option, is that just it?
do thisQuote:

...any ram will do 280 if you put 3.5v through it
You forgot something Corbec: Timings.
lol...yea i think i missed that. just looked at title and made a post...DAMN!!!
26,400 now. :toast:Quote:

Can you bump the LDT any higher? The 10x 1:1 runs seem to be outdoing you in Lobby + Car Chase. Or do you think its just slack timings on the Shuttle? :stick:
V.nice score though.
XP costs ~250 - 300 points on my Barton rig, how bad does it tank the A64's?
not really, my memory doesnt get any faster above 3.3v, khx3500 with bh5 and twinmos 3700 with tmd 4.3ns chips... there are even chips that wont boot with anything above 2.9v.Quote:

Car high pretty darn low, lowered to 551 core for the test as I didn't want to risk a lockup after a bugless Car low run.
LDT 2.5X is no problem with low Raddy clocks, but I need to lower to 2X for high Video clocks. Did a test between 258 x 10 LDT 2.5x vs 272 x 9.5 LDT 2x (Same CPU speed) and 272FSB LDT 2x only gives 1 FPS higher in Lobby high.
Woah, seems like all the A64 guys are using Win2k. Gotta get myself a copy of that! :D
Lardy, have you done any max FSB testing on NF3 boards?
does nvidia sys util work with that mobo (FSB adjustement in windows)?
macci, 280 is fine, even with 1:1 on the shuttle board, and thats the max it allows. The NV util only allows up to 250FSB for me, and the ram timings are shown correctly, but when i try to change it there's some error message. Yopu should not have any problems with the NF3 high FSBs, you just need a bios that allows high numbers, or a clockgen software that will work with your particular board.
ok thanks for info :)
I was able to push my ValueRAM (2x256MB) up to 270 1:1 2-2-2-6-11-16 on K8V (9x270) SuperPi 1M stable so its looking good :)
Waiting for the Gigabyte NF3 board to arrive (finally..).
btw, have you checked if there are any registry settings for the NVUtil? Maybe it possible to extend the FSB range (kinda like coolbits krusty=>bart, or bart=>bart3d tricks on GeForce videocards :D)
or one of the files for the program itself? Try opening each with wordpad and seeing if anything sticks out.. heh.
First off, a big thankx to Lardarse and stinger for sending me shuttles beta bios, as I was stuck at 250x10.
I have just started playing with this shuttle mb, and I have already gotten 265 1:1 @ 6,2,2,2 like a rock.
Running 5:3 mem I have gotten all the way upto 278x10 at 1.98v
So hopefully with somemore tweaking 278x10 1:1 well become possible.
wow..i must say, these are some insance numbers guys, keep it up!
i did sent them the bios hehe
my shuttle is now vmoded too
doing 260 1:1 without problems and i tell u there is much room to play left
i think i will do 270 1:1 soon :)
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7209484
take a look at the car high and lobby scores hehe but still my radeon is holding me back but soon i will release the bottleneck i hope
im doing 260 1:1 2600mhz at 1.65 vcore and 3.35vdimm atm
we will see what is left in there but the shuttle is for sure one of the best a64 mobos
