Well those temps are high but people were getting 80s with their loops which makes me  bricks.

I think my chip also runs very HOT...
im really loving the flat out temps...
Im getting closer to 4 also. :P
Trademark PissedVille Secret...
Hey what is the 'safe' temperatures for i7?
ES chips run hotter than retail chips too, please don't forget to mention this. Any temps you see here, can not be duplicated by retail chips.
Thanks for that.
What are the retail chips normally hitting with a moderate OC? I think most people's were ES's.
okey i figured out the perfect mount....
You apply tim in a diagonal line from one corner to the other. Not all the way.
Clamp the block and TWIST it a full 360.
So far 5 remounts and all remounts reported all even temps across all 4 cores. Also im using this wash direction.. Inlet on the left, outlet on the right. Allign your sqaure pin matrix so its alligned with your cpu.

Im really loving this block...
I'll see if i throw on the EK later on... however my HD4870X2 just decided to die... I ordered a new Saphire HD4870X2, so i guess ima break xfire again...
I decided to ditch my SAS controller entirely and go second HD4870X2
Buy some clamps
The huge variation in load temperatures for the Ci7 CPUs is leading me to think that a lot of this may be due to poor calibration. I mean, think of it from the standpoint of a chip designer... what's the point in spending money for an accurate, precise, and properly calibrated part when all it really needs to be is a ballpark 'I'm too hot/I'm doing fine' indicator? Along those lines, one chip could read 10c high and another 5c low.
Thoughts? It's something that almost makes me want to go through Intel's white papers to see if they actually define a tolerance for the CPU's temperature sensors (nevermind that they're, more or less, reading point heat).
oh what the hell..
i'll give u guys this much...

Pretty stuff T,nice temps on the 350, how are the board blocks working out?
that would give martin a reason to fly over to cali, just so he can throw the 350 at me.
WB he's retired...
i was gonna send skinnee one, but i think he's got samples..
need to ask him again..
Samples of what?
I have one waiting in the wings...just can't run thermals on it presently. I don't have an i7 setup yet, still saving my pennies. :D
I know we need thermals...I should have an i7 setup after the holiday.
2 Questions: do the BP 1/2" compression fittings fit on the 350?
Is it really that much better than a GTZ?
