shanems, here's the latest stable 64bit version for windows: LINKIE for 6.2.19 and here's one for the LATEST beta version 6.3.23
cool, ill try it out, on another note, i seem to have ran into a problem. i got some ddr2 fbdimm in, 800mhz, instead of 667, but it still comes up as 667.. only way i can clock it at 800 is to overclock the system.. ?? any ideas?? is there a jumper to switch 800 mode on..
Is the board set to read the SPD? Perhaps you need to reset something.
The board runs the memory 1:1 with the CPU.
That'd do it.
Already does have that, thor... read ~6 posts up. Got a good fan on your memory and decent case air circulation?
what voltage, Vcore??
Yes, i have 4 DDR2 800 2gb sticks with aftermarket thermal take ramsinks.. with a fan going across the sinks
ok, very frustraited, i installed a sil 3132 sata controller to use my dvd rom on it, while using the onboard raid.... i was playing COD:world at war, i get a bsod, i am thinkin it was somthing to do with my setup in crossfirex. anyways, i reboot, i get an error cannot load pci device into memory.. it never loads my onboard raid. i remove the Sil 3132, boots fine.. wtf is going on .. Am i overloading my PCIe Bus?? i have 2 Asus ati 4850, sil 3132, and the MIO audio card that comes with the mobo.
damn this build has alot of quirks in it.. shesh.. fix one thing , another thing pops up..
Sil controllers suck.
ok, running Boinc 64 bit build, working great, doesnt even impact my gaming with COD5 so i always have it running in the back ground. my benchmark was 3800/11000, and i am on the xtremesystems team, so hopefully ill contribute to the team pretty good.
I settled with 411 FSB, with 8 cores running at 3.7ghz.
I did notice that due to me having Crossfire config, my top video card is hitting 90c temp, so i ordered 2 Water blocks, extra radiator for GPU and external Reservoir for easy filling. After that is installed, the rig will be complete and ill have more time to work on my Project Flooded pc(Oil cooled PC).
Overall i am satisfied with the setup minus the lack of overclocking support in bios.
I will post pictures of the final setup after the new parts come in from FrozenCPU.com
