Best way is to post up pics. Theres at least 4 PCB designs for the card. Realistically the 9800GTX PCB is reference. Its the oldest and some of the GTX+ cards use it.

Are those idle or load voltages?
Afaik, the reference board bump volts by ~0.05v at load.
Btw, Leadtek has a non-ref. 9800GTX+, too... But I'm sure they have used reference design at some point. Does the PCB of your card look the one in Bjorn3D's review (see the backside shot) or like the one in the review at TPU?
largon, sorry for late answer, but i think this is Idle measurements. i dont remember...
the pcb is reference design, the same as the "zotac" you linked to.
Guys, I accidentally ripped out the dot that the vmod solders to, is there any way to repair this? Or any other point I can take off instead?
:(
For the Core? :)
Is your card reference GTX?
Yeah the one with the tiny dot to solder to, for vgpu mod....
I have not tried these mods, you do so at your own risk.
The other points Largon marked here, *APPEAR* to be ok for the mod

I can confirm this mod for 9800gtx
this is what I used for 9800gtx+http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...ltagehowto.jpg

reggie - my gtx+ looks nothing like yours sorry....
K404 - what was that dot connected to? I have been probing around with a multimeter and I can find no continuity between those three extra points and where the dot was ....
:(
Can this Gainward be modded? The PCB looks so bare ....

Guys, I know its a crappy pic but can this EVGA GTS250 be modded?
http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/2047/1001939r.jpg
Cheers.
Yup :)
and..... oh hell, sorry... I forgot to reply to your post above :( Do you still need help with it?
If you can't find a short between the pad you damaged and the 3 points around it, it might be cause the trace is gone and you're probing PCB?
haha thats ok, no if this EVGA is good to mod then Im buying it, $50 pp for a bit of fun is ok.
Regarding my pulled out dot - yeah I reckon the trace pulled out and Im just poking around in the pcb. I tried with a pin on the end of my probe too, to try and find any bit of conductivity but nothing .... doesnt matter, this evga gts250 will do the job. Will it have the same dot as my last vid card ? I cant tell by that pic so I will have a look when it arrives.
Cheers.
Pretty sure it's a different controller and a totally different PCB layout... never mind, probably wont take long to figure out the voltmod points :)
Thanks , I look forward to your assistance.

Controller for the core is on the front
That doesnt look like my pcb ....
Nope, totally different :)
OK guys, can anyone show me the vmod points for an EVGA GTS250 01G-P3-1155-TR ? Do you need a pic?
:)
