Nice Mounting hardware. The standoffs screw into the backplate and that holds it, then all you have to do is screw the spring screws in. Don't need 2 sets of hands.

looks very nice :) But, I am not sold... yet :D
what kind of nylon is it? do you have a link or more info or is it top secret? the mounting bracket looks interesting too.
Im not going to tell what grade Nylon it is,sorry man thats asking a little to much.
Looks good for a first entry into the market. From what we've seen it looks like OCZ have done their research and this block should be a solid performer. I'm looking forward to some testing as always...:D
I'd be willing to give it a run but i'm not well known here. What about NaeKuh?
The pump isn't doing to be another rebranded DDC or D5 I hope.
I nominate Skinnee.
Looks like a nice block Tony.
Martin, mcoffey, and nikhsub1 are definitely my first choices for testing.
Thanks BA!
Tony, I would be honored to run a round of tests on this block. I have the test bench prepped for some NB/SB block tests, but could easily switch over for CPU block testing right away. And yes, the dog in the avatar supervises all tests for repeatability. :D
PM on its way.
Yeah thanks Sig but I've still not finished the GTZ... been uber busy with work, this is a good thing though. Sadly my tinkering days are fading into a distant memory as my time gets eaten up with other things :(
Skinnee,
Are you sure you've paid up your country club initiation fees yet? That golf cart that was provided to you has just three wheels for now
I nominate Andy, Skinnee, and niksub1...they will do an awesome job if they have the time.
I already feel like such a pimp with all these blocks..it's really not fair that I am so fortunate to have the samples I already do have.
If there are not enough reviewers though... I would be honored to try it...
IMHO, the EK Supreme, Apogee GTZ, and the FuZion V2 will still dominate the high-end section.:D
I don't understand the whole point of testing. If its a viable product, it will sell well regardless of who tested the block. If the testing shows that the block is substandard, then the reviewers would only be bad mouthing the block and it just generates misconception and negative advertisement.
If I were a manufacturer, there is no way in hell I would allow my product to be sent to a bunch of enthusiasts in a forum. For a manufacturer, there is zero upside. Only downside risk.
Tt never has to worry about what a couple of geeks in some forum think about its products.
I guess that's why there are hardly any MBA-types in the IT industry... all fired as soon as they open their mouths rofl :p:
Its just common business sense. Doesn't require any degrees to figure that out.
I only play Blackjack in a casino because that's the only game where I can control the odds.
There is no way in hell I'm sending out my baby, my new product, my hard work, to a bunch of forum geeks where I have zero control over what they say. Otherwise, I would be dangling a whole bunch of "carrots." Its rather easy to corrupt people these days, and its relatively inexpensive to do so.
Hahaha... I would be taking down credit card numbers pending the return of the blocks lol
As usual, you have a point IanY. ;)
I agree it's a risk that doesn't necessarily make sense. But who are we to complain?
And IIRC, haven't some of Martin's tests been linked to or at least referenced from a few retailers?
