installed bios 1201 on my maximus extreme (thanks for posting it up) can't tell any difference still same max fsb , i thought some of the rampage extreme max fsb magic would have rubbed off but alas not but works ok at all same votages speeds as 1104
just installed 0501 for Rampage extreme and load line calibration now works
fine, and doesn't compromise Vdroop no more.
I guess I'll bring it up, 400 strap barely works on P5Q Pro. Setting the 400 strap and leaving memory divider on auto will usually allow the system to POST, but is completely useless as memory frequency is very low even with a high FSB. Setting memory frequency manually immediately causes the system to not POST.
No its not my CPU. I can run 1800MHz+ quad pumped FSB. Even my old AW9D-Max could run a 400 strap with my E4400 absolutely fine.

The link to the 501 bios works and the link to the 503 bios doesn't. :D
j/k...no really...PMP...the link to the 503 bios doesn't work.
PMP, do you know if any future Rampage Formula bios will include bios options for MCH / CPU clock skew adjustment or if its even possible to implement them in current design? I believe they were added to the P5E3 semi recently so perhaps these two options are possible. Would be great having these 2 options and I'm sure a lot of overclockers would welcome them too.

PMP - great job with this thread, but as the others have said... 0503 link for the RE is still not working!
Is there any solution with the P5Q Deluxe in combination with 2x2GB OCZ XTC Platinum 1066?
Anybody here have the P5Q DELUXE with the new BIOS build 1402 i got the 0803 version still any changes? is it worth it?

sorry for the noobish question, but I just ordered a P5Q PRO (P45) and an e8400, to replace a dead Asus P5b-deluxe I had. Is the .rom file in these BIOS files good for floppy drive update via Bios, or is there a better recommended method?
The .rom file is too big for a floppy, most use a usb Flash stick/disc, whatever they are called :) There are other options as well, but not a floppy.Quote:
