Price? I paid 65 EUR for the 8000C5 kit. Now it's gone back to the normal price though. Still awaiting order to be shipped, if they don't get the payment today (says it can take up to 3 days for the bank transfer) I'm getting worried.

Now that stuff really annoys me, like if you were to give them the money yourself, you could do that by using the boat, because Finland - UK is not that far away, and finishing the matter in one day. This, via internet banking takes up to 3 days, just plain stupid. Why just can't they take the payment, ship the product and be off.
Post some results when you've got the ram.
I got the Cellshock 8000 CAS5 kit, and they are indeed D9GKX, but so far they seem rather underwhelming. I can't find any way to push them to 600MHz stable.
Some GKX doesn't like 1200+, but clock well at CAS4 - what can you do at CAS4 and 2.0 - 2.1v real?
Yes, D9GKX do overclock really well on CL4.
I wasn't able to get 1200 working either but I suspect it's the mobo that doesn't let any kit run dualchannel 1200 as my previous Team Xtreem did it easily with 1 stick with 2.2v or maybe even slightly less but couldn't work with dualchannel. Same with this kit now, would need a DFI board then maybe. :D But then again 500x8 with divider 1.2x is really stressful for a mobo I'd imagine. Or perhaps updating to a modded bios would let me get past POST at 1200 if lowering Performance level setting. Abit boards aren't that RAM OC friendly, that's my only complaint with it.
Doesn't seem to be any good sample I got, I need 2.25v to be stable at DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8 25-11-11-5-5 when my previous Team ram did same config at 2.2v. Did a quick test and didn't wanna do 450x9 with divider 1.2x, ie 540 / 1080 at CL4 timings with 2.25v...
Nice, CAS4 1120 MHz @ 2.24v is great, and may have well been GKX. Was that 2.24v real or bios?
My board also hates 1200+ but I can be rock stable at CAS5 1186 MHz tRFC 30 @ 2.1v real. I hope the newer bioses alleviate this issue, as I'd like to see what my ram top out at using a reasonable voltage (~2.1 - 2.2v).
I have seen another guy get CAS5 DDR 1318 with the same kit as me, but he went overkill on the voltage using 2.39v.
Bah, 2.39V is not overkill.
My Team Xtreem's did 1200MHz 4-4-4-4 @ 2.75V real on air.
That's overkill.:D
Haha I used to have Air Jordans. They were awesome and I wore them to death. My mate has some pristine never worn ones, a few models of the Jordans actually (he collects rare shoes).
Not sure about the HyperX and GKX question, never owned a set. I would certainly hope they have D9's but these days the newer revisions may have other IC's due to D9's no longer being produced.
dont buy team they have a terrible rma process and i cant figure out what they are telling me since they have techs who cant speak english and wont approve the rma, and they dont have rma stock exept for taiwan (unless u live there) and since its priced the same as cell shock dont buy it
i have tested some good old Ballistix 8500 on 2.5 v !

whit 2.575 v i can get 650mhz cl 4 and 700mhz cl 5
I have 3 pairs of them, #3, #14 and #21 and getting 4th pair this week. Best shoes, use them for basketball training daily.
@zsamz_ That SLi ready fact is really improtant. :D:D:D
@zanzbar I got my Team's a while back, and i agree Cell-Shock are probably the best deal right now.
Yeah Air Jordans are fantastic, like D9 :D
I think my next purchases may be some AJ's and some cellshock, I have 4GB of Team already :p:
Don't worry, the ones you have are great sticks, and will most likely be awesome for low latency/high speed as opposed to just high CAS5 clocks. Just grab some of the other ones you want when you get some more cash together. It's always good to have a variation of sticks with differing capabilities.
Well, I just bought a kit of older Reaper 8500s (with D9GMH) off Evil-Bay, so I think I have enough Micron-based memory for a while (Ballistix Tracer 5300, Ballistix 6400, Ballistix 8500, Dominator 6400C3, Geil 9260 C4, CellShock 8000 C5). I shipped off my aXeRAM 9600 yesterday to Transcend and I'm still waiting on Corsair to send my replacement for a previous Dominator 6400C3 kit that died, they're supposed to be sending an 8500C5DF kit.
That's a nice collection! Perhaps you are correct, and you have purchased enough......for the time being :D
I just hope they last for more than a few months. My Ballistix 5300 and 6400 are over a year old and still going, but this newer D9 stuff just seems to die so fast.
Yeah, same, my Teams are new too. That's why I'm looking to purchase some of the 'original' revision D9's, in the hope they are more durable than the newer ones.
