Nice results guys! I am thinking of getting another 4870 and of course another motherboard- but I am wondering. Is 2x4870 better than 1x 4870x2 ? The 4870x2 have 2gb of mem, but will it matter?

This issue with Proxycon and Troll's Lair seem to be a driver issue with both the 4850 and 4870 cards. Might be just a cats 8.7 issue. If anyone has new data on this please post.
