Evga claims they have very low restriction, i hear, not from experience, that your blocks are somewhat restrictive... what are the cost and benefits to ur cards over evga? will you have more surface area, etc etc

The patents are the e-Flow pattern and transfer of heat from the backside to the front. Yes, the cards that are sold with the block use ASC and are applied by hand. The warranty is 1 year if you buy just the block, lifetime if you buy the block and card. Unfortunately the backplate is only sold with the block. We use 2 slots because of the LED on the card

Well it would be nice if it came with a clear top option for those who prefer those things. But don't worry about it too much, the weight is really more than I would prefer. Even horizontal weight can slowly damage a board if it is a large weight.

The heatpipes and backplane are a great idea.
Milling out more of the unneeded copper in the main plate would have helped.

Temps are good
Screws are fairly small, which may be why you only offered Delrin as a top option. Might have to change those for a durable clear top option.


Pretty good effort all around. I think Ed has the right idea though in using copper but getting it lower in weight wherever possible. On vertical mobo's that's really going to be essential.
