yes very nice can't wait till i have the extra cash for a couple would like to see how well they work
Excellent job  I like that. I hope it works good for you.
Nice job, that rotary table takes up a lot of your mill's Z travel though. :o
thanks guys! appreciate the nice feedback, makes this so much more rewarding :D
Jin was kind enough last to night to take off time from work and we had a fun chat for probably 1-2 hours. He gave a couple pointers. also i think i will be sandblasting these in future...

Man, I have to say Teyber, you've become quite a student of this fine art. Your work only continues to impress me. Keep up the resolve and great progress!!
btw andrew: luckily i got the x3 :D it takes up maybe 2-3 inches which i don't really need while i use the table... btw i was talking with josh(admin from ozcw) about him gettin a x2... omfg! they are so expensive over there! my x3 is maybe 100-200 pounds more then you guys pay for x2 :O
one_servant: thank you very very much! ive been working hard on design and spending a bit of time in a machining forum. unfortunately im no thermodynamics guru :( and teaching myself has proved near impossible.
i have some plans which should be interesting in the coming weeks...

Looking pretty sharp.
thanks mate!
just made another evap. have 2 important tests 2maro so no pics for a while... hopefully 2night but maybe not till 2maro.

Looking good. Are these thicker then your 1st one? I don't think the top needs to be so thick.
buckeye: lol!
2long4u: thanks! no these are thinner... the one above is .45" and the top part is about .2" tall.

There is what i made today. its TINY! its .35" base, and i think .125 tall or so. what makes the tops thicker then they really need to be is the lip for fitting on the evap for easier brazing, and the lip for the snapring. The design in this, think of a bunch of C's, but flips direction and gets smaller towards core...

sorry im in a rush.

The mount won't sit well on that, the snap ring needs to leave a lip for the mount to catch on.
no- machined a circle the size of the OD of the snap ring... so no need for that
something very cool came yesterday... no hints yet but i milled just 1 step of a stepper... wow. ill post pics... incredible finish and incredibly efficient!
Slitting saw I bet.
yup! did i tell you on msn?
yeah got a slitting saw. is very efficient. I have more plans for my mill though... which i will talk about when the motor comes :D
