We don't deal with the European team, since your in Greece, but in North America if it is a card that we have a cooler for and the card is under warranty we will send out a fan. If we didn't a fan for a product we could still RMA the card and have the entire card replaced.
do you guys do cross shipping on RMAs?
i have 2 xfx cards 6600gt n 6800gt cards never registered are they still warrantied? still got the box lol
since my comment was not answered I'll repost: do you guys do cross shipping on RMAs?
What's the motherboard warranty? Just basically Lifetime warranty?
I think it would totally kick arse if the motherboard's had second owner warranty.
Advanced replacement is something that we are looking in to but currently it is not available.
Any of 6, 7, or 8 series card bought before April 17, 2007 was grandfathered in to the warranty. You are covered.
Motherboards have a two year warranty.
Sorry for taking so long to answer back. It wasn't making this thread bold until today.

What should I do, if I buy new card/s in USA, and pick up it/them to Poland in EU
Can I send it on RMA to UK or where?
If you bought a product in North America it would have to be shipped to North America for warranty. I wouldn't recommend it. The shipping and customs fees can add up, making it not worth it.
well.. don't want to be Mr. Vinegar here, but... I had a XFX 9800 GTX die on me a couple weeks ago and contacted support for an RMA - was told that first I had to provide all sorts of info so they could verify the card was under warranty???? If you used XFX tech support you know you can't write the help desk unless your product is registered :(
So far I'm a little disappointed, but still hopefull
Did you create an online support ticket? Those are easiest for me to look up. If so PM me the ticket number. If you contacted by phone they will usually ask what you had done for diagnosis and give some addition troubleshooting steps if needed but you can get an RMA over the phone or online.
Is there any update on European Warranties being extended in the same manner as the USA & Canada?
I'm in the UK & have a Boxed XFX XXX 7950GX2 for sale with a DD Waterblock fitted. Just wondering if I can boast full cover on her to who ever buys it?
Thanks in advance, :)
Kin
If you read the thread you would know that the original packaging is not needed for an RMA.
As long as the card itself still have the serial number on it, your fine.
how do i do to transfer the waranty of graphic card ?
Okay,my humble apologies for necromancing this thread, but WHY is there still NO lifetime warranty for European customers??My XFX 8800 Ultra died yesterday. And guess what? This happens when my "usual 2 years warranty because i life in Europe"ended 1 friggin month ago...
The term "lifetime warranty" it's not directly related within the product life, instead is associated on it's market presence.
Usually, eletronic device production are limited in some predefined window space, that ensure to certain manufaturer a limited coverage before call some device to the end of life.
In other words, if unspecified in it's term and the product has been discontinued ( is no longer available EG:Rebranded, Revised..ecc,ecc ), as general rule in 6 months the warranty end.
In Europe, the law sets a minimum two-year warranty which must be burden by the retailers. So, that why we aint get the fancy "lifetime warranty".
does removing sticker at the backplate of the videocard void the warranty/rma??...
I have a nifty situation with XFX that has progressed over 2 years. Bought a video card 2 years ago that did not work out of the box and had three of these cards all of them faulty out of the box. Asked them to send me a different card because I simply did not want to deal with this again and they are sending me something that is definitely not worth the money I paid. Did not get the shipment yet (they shipped it today) but I asked for a refund instead because I am insulted I have wasted my money for so long with no proper help. Ticket number is 115008. Can you help? Or am I screwed?
***EDIT*** Just found out I am screwed. Thanks XFX!
***EDIT*** Also just found out that according to California law you have to be there in person in court and your lawyer (if you have to be there DO NOT get a lawyer) cannot stand in for you. The claims will only be able to go to $7500. So if it is going to cost over that to make a claim to fight in court (has to be the one on 7th street closet to them and think of hotel etc) it is simply not worth it. I live in Canada and I thought about it because California has strict warranty laws in which XFX would lose almost every case because they base their warranties on performance value instead of monetary value.
You are not the only one who got screwed...My 8800Ultra died on me,3 weeks ago.Back to the pc shop with the card, and he said that he would look into it.Last week he informed me XFX would not take the card back, because warranty ended sometime before the card died(1 month, come on guys...)...I'm disapponted...I didn't care if it was a card for 100 euro's but the damn thing was VERY expensive...710 euro's to be precise
Our situation is really different. You had a card that worked for a few years. I went through a horrible RMA experience for 2 years involving 3 cards (4th in the mail now) that did not work. One worked for a short time because I downclocked the hell out of it but it could do nothing. None of them worked right out of the box since day 1. By rights I should have got a refund a long time ago but nope....I get the full XFX rma experience. What ended up costing me about $500 for card and shipping I get rewarded with a $75 card. Now they will argue that it will perform better then the card I originally purchased 2 years ago which is more then likely true but here is the thing...I did not have a working card from XFX for the past two years. Buyer beware, warranties may look like it's great but remember they can keep you running in circles if they want to for years giving you card after card without a refund. XFX has shown me their true colours. Even when I asked them to test the cards before sending them out and they claim they did, it would still be a dude when I try to make it work. I have been cheated out my hard earned dollars that is for sure and I have learned a very valuable lesson about warranties.
:yepp: double lifetime is bs if you cant even get a proper service within a few months
i learned the hard way xfx will find any excuse before they refuse an rma even on a 2 month old product
1 month of messages for an rma refusal i'm done with xfx
i shoulda know they were part of the old visiontek that refused me an rma of my 4600ti
i rather have a 1-3 year warranty than the runaround
where did xfx go?
where visiontek went a few years ago when they started to shaft customers
good thing my 2 year boycot of gigabut is over
i rather buy a gigabyte than an xfx 5890 now
all they do is make you run in circles if you wanna rma
i found out xfx is a spinoff of the old visiontek that screwed me on my 4600ti when it died
double lifetime:ROFL: I GOT SCREWED ON 1 LIFETIME
