Man that is freaking Incredible! Love the Look - Looks like it was Purchased that way!
Please oh Please point me to the build log.... if one exists.
That is :eek2: :eek2: I simply Love it........
Anyone know where I can buy some of those "MAD SKILLZ?" If I attempted this ... it would look like a can of :spam:
Again I :worship: at that External Cooler!
Thanks for all the feedback - very useful
To answer a couple of questions....
The green interior powder coat was mainly for a good background colour to show hardware clearly and a matching set maybe in the pipeline.
They are Koolance Quick Connectors but as NaeKuh pointed out, they are pretty restrictive so i'm on the lookout for something a bit better - though they do look and feel nice.
I did a quick test and one of them takes a DDC with XSPC top from 13.2 LPM to 9.3LPM and if you consider that two would be used the flow will drop scarily low
The over all shape is due to a Black Ice 480GTX so shortening the case wasn’t an option............and would be extremely hard to do anyway tbh
The top IO panel and the other bit will be cut out completely and some kind of grills fitted for more airflow - likewise the back panel will have some kind of grill also.
A fan controller is yet to be fitted somewhere and i also forgot to mention there is a small hole cut on the front to adjust the D5 which may also be put onto a controller.
Anyway, going to get it hooked up over the weekend and see how it performs, even with the Koolance QC's
Thanks again for taking the time to post
Are you looking at selling these? If so I would be very interested.
wait, so you took 2 good cases, chop-shopped one of em just to make a mini-me version of your case?
wow!
Man your work is on fire!
Looks great, just offer it with a PA120.3 and it will be perfect.
Again, thanks for all the feedback
Not had a lot of spare play time lately but i did manage to get it filled up and bled which only took 60 seconds or so is a step in the right direction i guess.
Just got to find a bit more time to get it hooked up to a PC and see how it performs!

Why are all the dates in this thread screwy, with some posts missing? (I know I tried to verbalize my drooling just a day or two ago.)
Those new pics are killer, coolmiester!
Weird
That looks sick.
looks sweet!
Good work!
Looks great! Wow, chopping a Cosmos in half... Very cleanly done, too.
Very new to Xtreme Systems forums and I am already a fan of your work. I give your take on an external water cooling solution a huge YEAH!!:up:
I've gotta admit that is velly velly good..What a great idea...
Did you actually chop down a cosmos case to reach the right height for the water box?
How did you join the case parts you cut to lower the height?
Looks like it just magically shrunk!
seems to me u could fit a bit more in that case in terms of rads, etc but thats just me.
use these koolance vl4 http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=786
they are even bigger diameter
