That's what he meant. Lower the voltage or your chip will die, and you have already voided the warranty by lapping it. As opposed to sticking 2.0v through a chip and sending it back when it cracks saying "I done run it at stock"

That is what he was pointing out... nevermind the fact that using a 3rd party heatsink also technically voids the warranty :ROTF:
