Thanks kayl
You already mention in another thread that you got OUB1 for 22€, no need to mention that in every thread on the forum!Quote:
LD, are you using Danfoss OUB1 oil separator? You bought it for 181EUR+tax at Empor, right? Well, i just bought one, used, on eBay for 22€ including shipping costs.

So many questions for you but you have to bump into mine? :) I guess I am double-time lucky
All kind of technical questions are only attempts to get out 'LDs secrets of phase building'. therfore he has to kill us if tells us :p
Simply ask cold_ice and you get the answer....
Ok guys :)
It is OBU1, pipe issulation is 19mm. I have those compressors ate homme that's why i used them. 00 orifice on expansion valve.Quote:
Nice box for the heat exchanger. Is that an OUB 1 or an OUB 4 oil separator of Danfoss? It looks very big. How thick is the pipe insulation around the suction line? Why have you not used any rotary compressors? Which nozzle have you taken for the expansion valve? Good work as always my friend.
Yes, this are desuperheaters for secoond stage.Quote:
Very nice build LD. Hard to see the piping but I imagine those two small condensers are desuperheaters for the 2nd stage?
Yes i got it in Empor.Quote:

Alu chunk are for fighting with cold bug.

Where is this unit off to then Ales?
You can use in your next cascade a hand valve for the cold bug. I did this to a cascade i made a few months ago. You can control ~20-30 degrees by this way. Closed during the bench, open when you are idle.

Those shims are huge... a lot bigger than I thought they would be.
Well done... nice cascade.
Thanks Unseen, but i think that customer won't have problems with cold-bug. I just add that if cold-bug mybe will be there :P
