This is so Thermalright.
Are you saying that the AMD RD790 is the first board that uses digital PWM? Because is not, in the entire market and if we look only inside DFI...
And yes, of course it's just a copypaste.
O Rly?

No, I mean from the latest "AMD Quad core supporting boards" where they took the statement from, the DFI RD790 was the first of their boards to use it. The others didn't support quads and have this feature.
I'm going to wait for Intel or DFI to release their Nehalem boards. Then I will finally replace my D975XBX.
This is a old design pic. Retail will have some changes.
Nice Board, Sweet colors :D.
A Cebit showing would be nice.. but my guess would be for the release to be April at least. Especially if it has ICH10..probably "When it's done"
Using thermalright cooling would be smart :)
Yep slot design needs some work.
ICH10 (if it comes on the P45) should be pairable with a X48 Northbridge. I don't see a technical reason for it not to be "possible". And legacy free doesn't mean someone didn't come up with a bridge pci-e to pci. The logic of doing that however, doesn't make sense. So I'll bet it's ICH9 or it doesn't look like the photo if it's ICH10 (which Andre has noted it does not).
Wow! Thought DFI T3R mobos would only come in 2010... lol... please try not to get owned by Abit this time. If you're gonna be the last ones to bring out motherboards they should have class leading performance right out of the box and perfect BIOS.
DDR3 Lanparty is a myth =D
DFI promised from P35 and X38 lanpartys an DDR3 edition have u seen one? -no u haven't
Will DFI have a x48 that supports ddr2?
I bet we see this or a p45 board from dfi real soon.
The arrangement of the slots is for featuring 2 cards crossfire and 1 physics. But 3870 is single slot cooling so if it does trifire than its good enough. Still, layout is always a hard choice with the constraints of atx.
Come on DFI, give us a DDR3 board already!
I'm betting this board will be about 350 bucks when it is first released. Not much point in offering a DDR2 version IMO. If DFI turned to thermalright for their onboard heatsinks that is a HUGE step in the right direction.
Damn!
This board looks like no modding is needed to it.
Damn you DFI! For not letting me spend countless hours making quiet NB heatsinks that don't sound liek stock vacuum cleaners, damn youuu!
