i will do that on a gigabyte setup next :D
should be able to get similar FSB :D but with DDR3
i think i'll spend some time tweaking Vista a little for superpi and see if we can match or beat XP
:welcome: :welcome:
Nice results Dino
Amazing 32M for dualcore
great score

Congrats Dinos :)
Better board means DFI? or Asus Comando?
thanks guys :D
better board means ANY board that will run 600+ FSB (650 preferably)
this CPU i bought from PCCriminal and it primes at 570MHz FSB on his Asus P5E3 WS board so even non 965 board might do but for monster FSB i need a P5B DLX or commando to take it further
i really want to do some 6GHz 32M runs :D
We ALL want you to do some 6GHz 32M runs :D
congrats dinos, 6Ghz would scream. I hope you find your board!
Hi dino,
i guess i am stuck with the same problems as you, almost the same max under cascade and under LN2. Will try Vista next time for sure, it seems the fastest Wprime OS ever, we only held the dual-core Wprime record for a day and a half :D
Greets!
P.S.: Forgot to congratulate :D :yepp:
i saw your clocks
yup Vista is super fast for wPrime ;)
Great work, dinos22-san! :toast: :toast: :toast:
Especially 32M time is impressive for me. :worship:
It was not possible to catch up even by 5.9G by my system. :p:
I want to learn the secret of your speed. :D
 thank you
Newbeetle-san i learnt how to boost the speed of this board through registry
(you are right....it is VERY slow without these tweaks.... >> basically all these tweak do is return tight values you get when you boot at 400MHz or below at high FSB without FSB penalty most of the time)
jp-san from France is a real master and he inspired eva2000-san to post a guide for us less knowledgable members
here is the guide

now watch Newbeetle-san kill my scores clock for clock :ROTF:
Good luck i know you will have some amazing results :yepp: :worship:
nice work dino, Now lets try and find you a 650FSB board for some 6ghz 32m SPI lovin :yepp:
Nice set of runs dinos
True :) He is.
Root thread... http://www.ixtremtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76
great :)
hopefully someone can do some CAS4 runs at 5.9/6GHz runs with these tweaks applied
it will be awesome PP just awesome
i was hoping i'd get another board to test which was capable of higher FSB but got no news
oh well i'll just have to wait until some manufacturer figures out how to run X38/48 or P45 at such high FSB
shamino was dropping hints on his board so we shall see
i really hope some of the others can pull it off like nvidia has. nvidia performance in long superpi tests is still weak and until we get access to RAM register entries it will be difficult to tune it properly. working on getting that info but not having much luck
dinos I have three P5B Dlx boards in the mail to me right now... after i determine which is best maybe I could let you borrow it...
I have to talk to 3oh6 about modding them (vcpu vdroop vmch) first though. If your still on the hunt in a few weeks talk to me!
Amazing results! Nice video too ;), should put some 80's music on next time tho, keeps the momentum going!
Anyway, excuse my newbyness, what's that card in the last PCI slot?
not many picked up on the music
kinpin had a Slayer avatar and this little acoustic version of one of their greatest songs was supposed to be a good choice heheh but not many ppl got it
actually no one really got it EEK :D
[edit] debug card ;)
maaaaaaaaaan Xavier you're an OCer i respect a lot. you must have had some of the most amazing results with these boards i tell ya. i really look forward to some more tests from you if you find time to bench these. you keep pulling these boards out of the dungeon and showing up some newer gen hardware with this humble little chipset :D
this new motherboard is looking very promising
thanks for sending it over PCCriminal
:D
620MHz 1M air cooled :D

Congrats Dino! Nice pictures and clocks these FSB is awesome
