E8200 retail 9.953 SuperPI 1.52V WATER only . . .

Should i get a q6600 or a retail 8200?

okorn it depends on what the tasks you want your CPU to do. If you're only worried of games or general internet usage, C2D will do it well. Otherwise it would be useful to choose quad core. And be aware that in future dual cores will become more and more unsuitable for high performance computing, so if you want a cpu for a 1.5 year or more it would be better to get Q6600.

I just managed to do 10.6s in Superpi 1M with boxed copper cooling at 4.35Ghz and CSX Diablo memory. Default boxed cooling is from Conroe-L celerons.
Just get a E8200. Its fast, cool, and overcloks very good. Also price is way lower. Moonsond, processor will be sold starting at 20.jan due to official launch.

If i get de E8200 for 149,91 euros y buy it. If not 200 euros Q6600

EDIT: can get E8200 for 174 mmmm going to consider

174eur for E8200 is way too expensive ;)

I've got some E8400 and the first one is crap, comparing to yesterday's E8200 - need 0.1V more to complete 1M @ 4600mhz LOL
