Which bios is it that you received from Sapphire support?

Thanks for the CPUZ screenie, Bungle. I am running a Sapphire 10.071 BIOS at the moment from the Techpowerup! database but it doesn't have the fixed fan control. I am waiting on the moderator of the Sapphire Tech Support Forums to send me a fixed BIOS, probably the same one sean_php is using.
sean_php, I used the Atomic BIOS for a while and the fan speed control and thus temperatures where as bad as all the other BIOS I have run. On the desktop, everything was fine; the core was at 50 degrees and the card was perfectly quiet. However, the core would quickly climb to 90 degrees if ATI Tool's artefact scanner were active.
the BIOS which I received from sapphire's forum moderator (kind of good and fast guy) is dated 2008/01/23 (same they that I asked for it) and the version is the same old 010.067.000.000 (but gpuz reads 010.067.000.000.026905). as I mentioned the temps are now OK by sacrificing the silence. there is still the 860 ( I Think) MHz engine barrier.
I don't know it is a matter or not, but for getting the bios directly from sapphire, you need to send them your SKU# number (which can be found from the box or back of the card itself), I wonder if they compile unique bioses for each SKU or it is for the version of the card ( I heard that there is a blue pcb version of 3870 out there by sapphire too).
oh and in this bios, the 2d clock is not set to 300 anymore, it is 777 as well, but problem with Crysis (slow downs) is still exists with this bios too.
Yeh there is singleslot blue sapphire 3870, i still have it, but im selling it soon :)

I haven't tried to go over 860. I have the BBA version. This bios is suppose to be only good for the Built By ATI(BBA) sapphires.
PN - 188-O1E62-011SA / SKU# - 21122-00-20R **
** - THIS IS FOR BBA ( BUILT BY ATI ) CARDS ONLY WITH THE P/N AND SKU AS MENTIONED - DO NOT FLASH A SAPPHIRE BUILT CARD WITH IT.
I've attached it for you. Use at your own risk.
OMG, ATIWinflash says "SubsystemID's Mismatch" .... hmmm I think I must contact again with the good guy at sapphire's forum.
use the fixfan BIOS or one of Daidalos' custom BIOS's, which can be found elsewhere in this section.
Hey,
I used fixfan and seamed to work, idling less then 45oC now.
But I after the flash I got this problem:
- windows could not handle these 2 unknown devices:

I'm using Warcat 7.2 x64 drivers.
What if you force flash and give it a shot anyways? will you still get a post?
I'm not sure if my 3870 is ATI board released, but I did get the card right when it came out. It's a dual slot, red cover over heatsink/fan with a sexy chick on it.
The circuit board is red. I tried the atomic bios and I'm getting instability.
My pin is : 113-b33904-x03
Is that BBA? thanks.
