they might be faster. they could have lower latency without using the CF bridges. maybe the memory is even shared between the GPU's, although i doubt it.Quote:

It's interesting that ATI's card is a true dual core chip...and nvidia a card the size of a boat with two pcbs.

it'll be 1gb gddr4, and that's the reason why the pcb is so long (2 gpus with 1gb of memory not to mention the necessary hardware xfire bridge)

Yeah really.... I get a smidge over 13k on my e4300/3870 setup. Definitely seems like the R680 scales better than a crossfire 3870 setup. 3DMark scores are great, but Im hoping that you still get a benefit running the R680 on a game that has no crossfire profile written for it (common with games just released).
