How do you actually begin with the overclocking? First you seek the memory's max performance and then the cpu?
Also how do you know when you hit the barrier of the Volts and memory timings? IS there is very good guide online from where u learned all this?
Saaya, im not grumpy, just anoyed at you posting in OCZ threads, talkig about removing spreaders etc when you are a cellshock rep....I stay out of your threads so please stay out of ours..that way we will get along fine.
I sometimes think you forget you work for a competitor to OCZ with how you post etc.
Regards 8GB kits they will not do as high clocks due to MCH load, I will try to get more info for you all

I set the Memory to 1800 7-6-5 @ 2,1 V and runs SuperPi32m to the Voltage with it is unstable ;)

im sure you dont need 2.1v for 1800 765! 1.9-1.95v should be enough for that. maybe you need more vmch...what vmch are you running atm? your using the dq6 right? hmmm too bad command rate 1t doesnt work on this board...
did you use this pll option 2 or whatever its called?
michal said that setting was needed to get high mem speeds on this board.

VMCH is a little crazy at my board ... 1800 @ Auto runs 1800 @ +0.100 V dosn't works but 1800 @ +0.200 V works too
I have set the Memory Options to Option 2
but with FSB Wall I can't get higher clocks
I will test it with the VMCH too.... with +0,200 i can boot and the system works. But with 0,100 it doesn't work too.... but i did'nt try with +0,000 (normal?).
Or is the autofunction or "normal" the same like the asusboards - automatically overvoltage?

With "normal" (without VMCH-raise) the system boots and works fine too..... I think the board raise the VMCH automatically.....

Good news regarding the heatsinks! I just received my DDR2 with identical heatsinks and was easily (albeit very carefully) able to lever them off with a ruler after putting the RAM on the radiator for a couple of minutes.

As far as I know all the Reaper X modules 1333 6-5-5-20 are built with micron, now not all are going to do 1800+ and remember many boards will not do 1800+ so this may either be a board not doing 1800 or the dimms do just shy of thast or the setup is wrong to do it.
DDR3 at 1800+ is at this time a fine art on many boards, just because you see a few users on the forum doing it does NOT mean every kit and every board will do it...try to remember this.
