i think ill stick to my current nTune just because the overclocking on this is useless to me when i use other things to overclock, only thing I like is the 3DMonitor too bad it's ~50C off from my actual CPU temp

Hmm.... I just noticed that in this new nTune when I try to overclock my 2x 8800gts 640mb OC EVGA cards, only one card actually adjusts it's clocks. THe other does not.
Also, the voltage adjustment on the GPU/GDDR does not function for me.
Any ideas why?
Well so far I don't have crap for being able to over-volt my graphics cards..... or RAM..... etc.
But here is the long awaited shot of the little 3d graphics interface for the nVidia System Performance Monitor.

Do any of you guys with 8800gt cards get this option to work? I've got two brand new 8800gts OC Evga cards with 640mb ram and the option is just grayed out...... BLAH!!!

Voltage adjust is available only with G92 graphic cards!
^^^ Damn.....
As are the .45nm CPU's as well....
:(
why the heck only G92 gfx have volt adjustments??
OT,
Zdenku, nechtel by sis v podpisu zmenit nazvy na Gigabyte X,Y,Z misto Gigabyte X, Gigabyte Y, Gigabyte Z?
am this software is only for vista or what?
But not at the moment or can you post a screen with active v-control?
I did not like the way it overvolts my v-core...I set it to 1.6 (was doing a little benching :D ) and rebooted to check the bios setting and it read 1.65 volts!
I thought I would like having the ability to seperately oc the shaders on my Ultra's, but the newest version of RivaTuner does that now...so I see no reason to have another program open for oc'ing. Clock Gen does the PCIe buss and CPU and RivaTuner does the GPU's...so I uninstalled it and reinstalled version 5.05.
I like the system monitor function of the older version as well....just stick it off in the corner to refer to when oc'ing or crunching. I like that I can uase it to verify my Everest OSD monitoring as well. The new 3D monitor spans the whole screen...all-n-all...I think I'll pass on this version.
didn't see anyone post a 2D monitoring interface
i reckon it's awesome :D

Why do we take pains in installing a program the only crashes our system. All in the name of ocing an Nvidia card. Well we should start thinking towards Bios modding and flashing. With that the cpu and memory has one program less to run. Looks, is not all that matters(3D monitor console), but how effective and stable is our systems at the end of the day. Sorry to all XS members for my veiw, i believe nTune sucks.
Meanwhile which bios, cpu, voltages and memory timing re u using on ur P5N-E SLI mobo, Sargat?
nTune sucks... it doesn't really have any functionality without a nVIDIA motherboard. Yet they force you to download the crap to view your GPU temp unless you use a third party software.
I downloaded it once, realized how worthless it was - and tried to uninstall it:
"You need to have a nForce 2 or nForce 3 motherboard to uninstall this software"
not joking in order to flame them or anything, it seriously told me to get a nForce 2 mobo in order to uninstall... this was in March 2007.
you had me there for a sec
i went to uninstall ntune on my 24/7 rig (intel mobo) and it uninstalled just fine
