Time to tell us how much Vcore you need to run at 9x425 and 9x445 then :)
Also what batch is this exactly? L737Bxxx (what's the xxx in your case?)
I saw a L737B560 in a store on friday.
Might go check out tomorrow if they still have it.
I have to say dude for a first time OC your results are amazing :toast: Very impressive, 3.6ghz on such low vcore
interesting stuff gentlemen.
i know alot of Q6600's were doing 3.6 @ around 1.36v but i didnt realise so many were doing that at lower voltages.
makes me want to cry given my 3210 (B5) need 1.52v to do 3.6ghz lol.
My new L726B has a 1.2 VID and dosent like to clock well. It will do 1.32 @3.6 but I can't keep it stable at all. Even if I up the vCore to 1.42..... Funny thing is I can boot @ 4.0 and do SPI1M. This chip got me 19K in 3d06 but I crashed when I tried to submit. Screen shot to show Validation.

mine could never do that .
Yes, indeed.
What stepping, jammin?
stepping is l737a806 pack date 10/17/07
L723... yes, but this one is a L737.
Think I'm gonna wait 10 more weeks, then I'll have a 747. :ROTF:
i tell you nothing :shakes:
but i show you:D
i guess that you cannot look on the cpu right?
not at the moment in 2 weeks y buy a new cooler the i can check it!
hope d-tek fuzion or the enzo are the best for quads!
or install the nozzle kit in the d-tek!
Thank you guys for all of your kind comments.
Now for the guys that question the vcore and cpu-z here is an additional screenshot with asus probe 2 which I don't know how good it is but there is also the newest version of speedfan in the screenshot as well.....
These images are fresh installs as of 5 minutes ago with no tweaking at all.

I will also get the batch code off the box when I get home tomorrow night. It's in my baby's room right now so I can't go in there and get it since he is sleeping.
Don't worry, I'll get it.
I think I am very lucky to get such a good chip.
I would push it to 4.0ghz but I do not have Water Cooling yet. I may get it in a while but right now it's not a top priority. I think my next endeavor is to get a new GPU cooler and push my 2900pro until it busts.
Could anyone tell me why all the voltages with asus probe are red? I have it set to auto. Should I go in and change those?
I think that asus probe is broken because the SB2 Voltage keeps jumping up to 5.5 and giving me an alarm. I don't understand half the :banana::banana::banana: I'm looking at lol.
I'll learn more as I go though, of course with all my friend's help here on these boards.
Yes..... You are very lucky to get a chip like that. Especially being new to overclocking. I'm kinda hating you right now. :D

3600 @ 1.288v too
Rbs.
I just got an L737B also. I am waiting on my new case and my pa120.3 to show up. I decided it was time for some other upgrades.... Let you guys know how it clocks hopefully some time next week. This looks promising so far.
