Nice CPU, already asked you for selling it to me, but nevermind :) .
Keep up the good work ;) .

Thanks mate :)
The tepms was around 40C under 1M running (@1.65v), but the coretemp could monitor only the first core, the second is allways at 33C lol :D
But there is one thing i didnt realize... another guys who are running E8400 around 4.6G on air, is theirs chip stable 4G around ~1.3v, but mine is p95 stable w/ only 1.416v
Thank you all guys your kind words :toast:
Really nice results guys.
Regards
guys
awesome bench table, where you find it :D:D :p:
results are great to btw
damn my pocket cant keep up with intel!
wow 5ghz id be happy with 4, nice and wtf to that nb cooler that things huge.
any way wicked stuff, ur the man
i need to get one of these and a new mobo, fsb hole on my board from 425->infinity is killing me lol
Easy to claim a WR when noone else has the cpu lol :)
nevertheless sick results looks promising :D
excellent work guys :)
I'm buying this chip too when it's avaible in Europe :D
How does this chip perform on a p35 chipset?
push push push :D
shame there are not many of these CPUs around
this is the only one i've seen bench past 560 too
with 1.7 volts i would hope it went that high lol
Can you use half multipliers with E8400? I tried one on my Gigabyte Board and can only use the full ones.
Have you tried giving more than 1.75V to the cpu?
Nice mate , gratulalok :) . I did not read all the replays , i look only at numbers :D Foxconn it's stock or moded ?
i told myself to get the new quad but this is very tempting
Man, I really wanted to buy this chip once it comes out, but I was hoping at least 4.5Ghz on air! With my E6750 i can run almost 4Ghz prime stable using U-120 Extreme.
Kind a turn off :(
Nonetheless, Great job with that chip! ;)
Very nice work. :toast:
I'm waiting to see some in case results from someone who has these chips after you finish your LN2 record attempting runs because 24/7 like people run is not open bench at all and add 15-20C to the CPU temps you see there and you won't be getting even 4GHz stable and cool enough to run by that standard. Plus NB/MOS/DIMM will also run a lot hotter inside a case with GPU/HDD and so on and you don't eactly run noisy delta fans inside a 24/7 case either. Better cooling and open top we know Wolf will do many MHz by now judging from just Yorky alone.
So it looks like 2-350MHz more 24/7 than C2D with the same cooling is on the cards.
