I've just ordered 4 x 1 GB of this transcend aXeram, but the 800 MHz Cl4 version. Supposed to be D9GMH.
Well, it's lower binned (Transcend Axeram 800 MHz 4-4-4-12) but the RAM I got is D9GMH. Best I can get out of it is 976 MHz CL5 @ 2.1 v running 4 x 1 GB, which is good enough for me. It runs pretty hot, and it wouldn't post at 2.3 v, but a super pi 8 M of 3:27 with 3120 MHz C2Q and only 390 fsb is pretty good performance.
Please use memtest86+ 3.3 Boot test, and tell me what's max you can go with 2.1v 5-5-5-15 :up:Quote:

No can do. It's running f@h 24/7. The memory would run at 976 CL4 @ 2.2 v but wouldn't pass SP 16 M. Passed it once, but not the second time. I tried 2x1024 at 1170 CL5 & CL6, but it froze in the bios at 2.2 and 2.3 v, and wouldn't post at 2.1v. default TRFC is always 44 cycles, although I tried 52 as well. It's possible that this memory could run better on another board, I'm running it in Abit IP-35E.Quote:

Consolidated my dual opteron machine down to a cheap AM2 microatx setup. Decided to gamble with a set of these (Ballistix went out of stock as I was checking out lol) and here's what I got:

I bought a 2x1 GB kit of 800's for 73€ + delivery that were, according to the company that sold them, certainly D9GMH. And indeed they are usable, at least on lower latencies. With Asus P5K-E, E6750, 333 strap and 5:8 divider I ran Orthos Blend 5-5-4-12 2.2v with following results:
610: 4 minutes and error
600: 15 minutes and error
590: 13 hours and error
580: 25 hours w/o errors; I stopped
Not bad for configuration that's aimed for 24/7 SETI. I guess these will do with the upcoming Wolfdales. However, with 4-4-4-x settings these perform significantly worse. Two passes of Orthos (appx. 3 minutes) with same voltage and you are down to 490 MHz: that is around as stable as 5-5-4-12 at 610 MHz. Stable clocks with the settings and voltage are probably around 450-460 MHz.
With 5-4-4-x settings things get better: The RAM seemed to work fine at 530 MHz for around two days until shutten-down computer and mystically reseted BIOS which, however, could very well have something to do with a boozing party we had during that night! :D
You might want to consider these sticks for their price, at least if you can find 100% certain batch of D9 chips.
Mine is not doing so well at 1080 5-5-5-15-AUTO @2.1V. I'll try to fix it using specifica timings, I need the 1080 for my current setup (Q6600 3600(450*8) or I'll have to use 900 (not good).

695MHz i can run 06 mark and superpi 1M-8M , havent try 32M yet or memtest.
I believe that i have to raise voltages a bit to run 32M. I waiting my second kit,

I just spoke with Transcend customer service over the phone and they said you are not guaranteed to receive Micron as we use a number of different chip makers like Samsung, Epilida, etc.
So that leads me to ask, has anyone got the "Model TX1200QLJ-2GK" which is the 1200mhz 2gb kit from newegg and got the micron D9s ?
Sigh... I just called evga tech support and they said the ram should work at 800mhz or 1066mhz with no problems compatibility wise... however they also said they cannot say for certain if the ram will run at 1200mhz :(
so has anyone tried this ram with evga 680i ?
