Will/Have you purchase X38 chipset for DDR2 or DDR3?

That's what I did. Got a crappy P5E3 Deluxe, wouldn't clock my q6600 over 460 fsb and wouldn't max out my Corsair DDR3 1800 ram either. Traded it for a Maximus Extreme and couldn't be more pleased --- memory performance rocks, and I booted by quad core processor at 500 fsb for the first time ever. Chipset latencies are really tight too. Love the board.
