if fugger reaches 8.017 at 5.6ghz, i would say --->yes?:D

Woooowwwwwww!!!
OMFG :eek2:
:bounces:
I had never expected York to do this great, I had expected perhaps 4.2GHz or so at such voltages on good samples of the 3GHz model but 4.65GHz 1.49v superpi run!
I agree with you hipro, poor AMD. As it seems now they won't get as much love from enthusiasts as Penryn will get.
Thanks my friend....:)
Into bios I see 24*C on the mobo and 24*C on the CPU at 3.6GHz and default VCore....
At 1.356VCore and 4303MHz into bios I see ~37*C...
You must have seen my face when I was keep raising the frequency with 1.356VCore and benching 2k6....Apparently it does 2k6 at 4374MHz with 1.356VCore :yepp:
Dude. This is mind blowing
AMD should sell the company out to Intel :D
Amazing, with 4 core enabled and a ridiculus v-core:eek:
This night I'll dream for this chip:D
It's fascinating to see the fantastic numbers done with 3 stage cascades and LN2, but in a way it's much better to see what can be done in a real world situation.
I see your numbers and they tell me I can run that myself at over 4000mhz 24/7 and that impresses the crap out of me.
You really got me excited over this one George!
Personally this is the most suprising overclock results of a product I've ever seen. But it seems the samples only keep getting better and better by every new revision so imagine what York might do with some later revisions. :D
Well quads usually doesn't allow as high fsb as dual cores so that's my main concern, my E6750 does at least 515fsb at 6x multi with stock volts (haven't tested higher) and 500~505 on 7x multi and tops at 469x8 so I don't think at least mine would do 500 fsb with a quad but I'd be happy with 8x480 too for example. :DQuote:
And if the chip allows it,my board does 500FSB so I don't think I will have a trouble due to FSB(4Ghz for daily use would good enough for me) but due to the chip heat
Wow cool. 3.6ghz runs much faster?
Lol, took this from a local forum :D

wow hipro looks like you have some new balls :D :D :D
That's awesome on air, can't wait for such a chip to get into my hands :slobber:
For the moment I wait for your LN2 results ;) good luck with the runs :toast:

P.S. Nice chip George, can't wait to see it under LN2
!! :D !!
We all know the Penryn ES potential since Charles and Shamino's oc'ing but I just want to see a retail chip tested now.
