From what I've been told the Thermalright HR-09U TYPE3 is still on schedule for end of month release. Should have one within the next two weeks. Will post results.

I don't know my personal opinion is that the Full version with the Trans piper is very well thought out and very nice indeed. Perhaps a secondary separately sold trans piper for south bridge would be very nice add on also seeing how the electrical end of things pretty much shuts down 2 of the working slots when in X4 mode.
Good to see DFI doing something again though:yepp:
This is exactly what I wanted to see. Now I know what board to get :)
At least DFI listens to its customers...unlike a few other companies out there...
This version makes it a lot easier to construct a Thermalright city without having to hack up heatpipe assemblies:D
bios info being updated as we can...

damn would have bought this this instead of the transpiper version :(
can those heatsinks bought independently ???
Good board either with or without the transpiper - would have preferred the without version but I am not complaining. For the simple reason that unlike both my Asus motherboards I have no need to volt mod or to do any kind of mod to get the max out of the tech that I have at my disposal. And as was correctly stated DFi do seem to listen and more importantly adapt their products to what consumers are saying.
My one gripe is that I would like to see their products be more speedily introduced into the market but for that to happen tier one mobo manufacture status would be needed to be granted to DFi.
I guess us lucky brits will see this around january
this is exactly what i was waiting for
i could replace the NB and SB with some MCW30s and not have to spend any extra money on more heatsinks..
but i also think this should be in the 160-180 range
Im know there's atleast 1 that is..:D

Good Looking board.
Thanks
anyone know if this is for sale anywhere in the US yet?
Those boards in the pics both have the transpiper...
I'd really love to wait for this version as reapplying paste on a separate heatsink sans heatpipe would be much easier. 2 bad they're not silver tho. :( C'mon DFI!!
EDIT: fixed
$240! Good price, but I gues they valued that transpiper at $60?
