I will guess primochill cause it looks similar but does it matter ?
Lol, it's quite a little bit too early to know if it will fit, there hasn't been made a single card at this moment. Though, the MCW-60 will perform on par with Swiftech's STEALTH block, and it could be possible that it is compatible with G90, and if the socket changes Swiftech can always bring out a socket adapter. This is speculation, no pure facts!
SLI numbers coming up with compare vs Koolance.
Model VID-282, thats for another thread.
excellent temps u have there :) and wow i wished my country had been dryer.. 85% to 95% humidity isnt all that good for low temps :)
did u try vmodding it yet?
is there any screw near the ram ?
Several depending on how near you mean. looked at images?
Letīs see the SLI numbers!.
Fugger, do you plan voltmod this cards?.;)
impossible to replace bubble pad by a better thermal paste like as5 ?
On revision two yes it is impossible to replace the thermal pad with any type of TIM.
Revision two utilises a thicker o-ring between top and block base to give it a bow and more pressure on the surface of the G80 IHS.
The downside is, this lifts the block off the memory chips slightly - hence the need for a thermal pad.
I have an 8800 ultra (612/1080). Got the Stealth Rev. 2 and have been running (720/1161, 1781 shader) speeds stable since installed, BF2 crysis beta, MOHA, etc. Idle 38 C, load 42-47 C. My goal was run better than the Leadtek Leviathon and surpassed it. I can get the core up to 760 but crashes upon load. Could this be because of the shader going up to much? Can the newest rivatuner set shader clock, I hate vista?
No it can't, but doing a bios mod aint that hard to do.
The newest Rivatuner can set shader clock, it's in the power user registry options.
You set a ratio between core and shader clock. Just lower the ratio and the shader clock won't scale as high with the core clock.
My SLIed 8800GTX can do 675 Core Clock (on Riva tuner) and 1029 memory without volt mods. I have also set the Shader at 1600Mhz and runs 100% stable. All is water cooled ofc. So shouldn't the ultra do a bit higher on the core and shader?
I am using Apogees 1U for the chip and Swiftech ramsinks on anything else.
I love chilled air for graphics cooling - the way my computer is setup my AC unit (for apartment) is pretty much ducted strait to the Testing PC - so whenever I bench I just crank the AC and as I have been benching passive cards I have a 120mm Yate Loon blowing over them so it drops the temps that much more!
FUGGER I remember seeing you had a AC unit for one of those ungodly PCMARK benches and got the idea to invest in a portable AC unit but I need more graphics cards:rofl: so that is on hold and I guess the way it is placed I could call my CPU cooling chilled water cooling as I can get fairly high clocks when I turn on the AC
sorry about getting away/ rambling --- as always FUGGER great write up and bench plus again THANKS FOR THE SITE
